(Not hoisting big expectations on the kid, I just wanted an excuse to say that.)
If I'm the coaches I'm letting him know right now, no matter how he does this is just to get some experience and not to read into anything if he's bounced around a bit or goes back to the AHL in a week or whatever. Be honest up front and set his expectations so he doesn't go mental if he does pretty well and still gets sent down later.
The last thing that I want is for the Pens to mishandle/misuse another offensive prospect. I hope he's ready, and I hope that he's used correctly. Experience tells me that he'll see 8 minutes of ice time as he's moved through the 3rd and 4th line after he has one unsuccessful shift.
