Ullmark. I think he'll be better than Makarov. Add Jacobs.

Ullmark or Makarov?

Makarov, IMO, has the higher ceiling.....but is FAR less certain to get there.

I think Ullmark could be something in the NHL, even if it's just a backup.

*flips coin*

Makarov.

Add Jacobs

I'm the same way. I really like what Ullmark was able to do against men, despite the low workload--hopefully he'll get more opportunity next year.

Add Jacobs.

Ullmark for me too. More stable, great size, time to develop.

Ullmark, add Schiestel even though he's been declining for two years now.

The adds here are pretty mixed. The three guys on ELC's who don't seem to be in their plans at all (Syzdlowski, Parker, Boychuk); the expiring RFA contracts (Lagace, Crawford, Schiestel) that may not be retained; the middling collegians (Navin, Adams); the middling USHLer (Peterson); two highly flawed minor-league goalies (Knapp, Lieuwen); and the as-of-yet unsigned CHL grads (Jacobs, Austin and the recently added Lepkowski).

Given the level of lacklusterness, add Peterson since he's going to get the longest time to straighten out his game of any of these guys.

Judd is my nomination to add as well, predominantly for the reason you mentioned: he has a long time to grow in terms of prospect stature.
