Lol couldnt beat a team who was missing their captain and probably their best d man, and playing a back to back.

that should just bout kill their playoff hopes

somehow the Ducks looks great without Getzlaf and Souray and playing on back-to-back nights

Amazing first 9 minutes of the first followed by an amazing final 9 minutes of the third. The rest.. well... not worth mentioning!

Best player on the Oilers tonight was Hall followed by Dubs.

Krueger teaches his players to respect the opposition way too much. The Oilers gave the Duck an inch they they took a sniping meter!

I love Fistric Attorney but I don't know if he can play a regular role

Gotta give it up for a few guys like Hall, Dubnyk, Smid for giving it their absolute all. About half this team is complete garbage.

Right in the thick of it, trade deadline comes and ST snaps up Jerod Smithson.

Moved - Jagr, Gaborik, jussi Jokinen, Clowe etc... We snap up Smithson.

What a letdown. Screw this.,,

Difference in effort in last few minutes and the rest is proof team just doesn't care. Hope they can stop talking about playoff hopes.

Hall and Dubie were good. A few players were decent (Fistric, Gagner, Smid). The rest were putrid.

This was the first game of the season where we were down by a goal in the third period and we played with urgency trying to tie it up.

Where has this effort been the rest of the year?

Toronto is 8 points up on 9th. They have effectively made the playoffs.

Bye-Bye playoffs. Anaheim just pushed the oilers around. Nothing new there, some teams just want to win. IMO the oilers are just coasting relying on their skill instead of the hard work that it takes to be a playoff team

Hopefully we end up with a top 10 pick and a whole hell of a lot of new big/tough to play against bodies this offseason.

The younger, faster, fresher team lost the majority of puck battles and races to loose pucks to the older, slow, tired team.

Way too often does this team go in on the forecheck and instead of hitting someone they just skate by them and waive their stick at the puck. They are an easy team to play against.

I'm a Fistric fan but IMO he had a poor night tonight.
