Nah, I won't be joining the rest of you guys ready to jump off the ledge, but I will be joining the group that's asking what the hell is going on with Stoner.

I mean, I don't want to wish ill will on the guy or anything, I really love his physical play and he is a decent player and all, but damn he makes some boneheaded plays sometimes.

Clayton Stoner should be traded for Nick Leddy

oh wait..

Seriously though, really depressed loss. Backstrom played really well, and our team just couldn't convert.

Blaming Stoner on this. He turns it over and they score. All night he was out worked and out skated. Absolutely garbage.

This is very true, I mean the Hawks are literally a huge step above us. SO deep, can skate circles around every team. Has skill and grit and goaltending.

If Yeo seriously said that he isn't benching Stoner, **** him.
It's getting ridiculous.

I agree. It was just crazy to see the difference tonight. The Wild seemed like they would chip it in and the Hawks could just carry the puck out. We did turn over some pucks, but then they just gave it right back to them. Oh well, it's just one game. The Wild have an easier schedule coming up so I'm sure they'll make the playoffs, but we have to play good against St. Louis and Columbus. We need to win both of those games.

That's because Stoner and Falk cannot skate well. Watch next game (or hopefully Stoner is scratched) and you'll notice how many times in our own zone Stoner is bent over, legs wide REACHING with his stick instead of playing body. He can't keep up.

I can't wait to hear how Yeo defends Stoner in his presser again. Is Kampfer really that bad that he wouldn't be an improvement over Clayton ****ing Stoner? I'm not buying it, the dude can at least make an outlet pass right?

Put Heatley on IR and call people up.

This team misses Matt Cullen so much. Also... #freejasonzucker #releaseclaytonstoner #freetomgilbert

Stoner and a lack of offense lost this game for us.

I wish the Wild played better offensively. If they can keep themselves within one goal of the top team in the NHL on a regular basis, I'll be okay. Great effort by Backstrom.

Scratch: Stoner, Bouchard

Call-Up: Kampfer, Zucker

Hell, I would even like to see Mara get a contract. He actually knows how to play defense.

You know if they like scored just a nice goal even strength I'd be OK with this loss, but my god Stoner what the hell. Our offense wasn't great but we did get some chances we didn't bury (theme of the Wild's existence right there).

Not the strongest game all around by everyone, missed a couple key chances. It was also disappointing that our top line couldn't even get that much pressure out there. Backstrom kept the Wild in the game and he was let down.

I usually don't like to single one person out solely for a loss but Clayton Stoner, come on man right on Hossa's stick? really? Wow. That should deserve at least a one game benching.

But whatever, we all move on. I hope the Wild have a hard practice tomorrow and they come out on a mission against St. Louis. We need to win these next two games against the Blues and Jackets.

I saw stoner make maybe 2 good plays tonight to break up the play, I'd go as far as saying they were really good. but that was about it for the postives and he had a big negative.

i know people hate scandella, but i want to see him given another shot

I like Scandella, he hasn't been given a fair chance, but people who are Houston fans say that he has been bad since he was sent back down.

I do, deep inside, feel bad for Stoner, because he blows, and Yeo keeps throwing him out there.

I think Yeo is a good coach, when Stoner isn't on the ice.

Stoner gets an assist! Only Wild player to get a point!

And where were you, Mr. PMB with your fancy "puck skills"?

Kind of stinks that our best chances were by Clutterbuck and Rupp.
