Neither one of those are good enough return for the 'Yotes to trade Yandle.

So why are they wasting their time including Edmonton?

so clear who you are a fan of OP. Boston and Phoenix both say no rather easily.

I'm used to seeing Oilers fans attempt to dump Gagner on the Yotes and make off with our core pieces, but dragging Boston into this too now? Easy no from both Phoenix and the Bruins.

I dont think PHO would get more for Yandle than a top 6 C with 5 seasons of experience scoring a point a game, a prospect middle 6 forward, and a possible top 10 pick.

BUt Boston definitely needs a pack of cigarettes added to their take since they will need to smoke alot after getting ****** that hard.

BUT OP... Boychuks NMC changes drastically on July 1st and he is someone i think could help the Oilers stabilize the Right side of our defensive Corps. I dont think he would be expensive either and may even be available at the draft when his NMC has 10 teams hed accept instead of 20 on july 1st. If Boston lands Yandle or someonelse they might be willing to move JBoy and his value isnt really that high. J Boy is worth around what McBain would have been worth. Early second, depth forward or depth d. Their Defence has actually been suspect this year more times than not and JBoy is not excluded from that group.

If Lucic WERE available, and they thought Yandle wasnt another PHO anomoly that fell off the cliff when removed from the sleeping pills the coyotes feed their opponents... than it would be nearly a straight up Lucic for Yandle trade.

Peverly has little Value right now Lucic for Yandle I would do and Boychuck would not fit into our cap with another high paid Dman, Edmonton just give Boston something back to Boston, 2nd and a third?

It's really not that bad. Peverley and Boychuk aren't exactly prized possessions, so essentially Boston is trading Lucic for Yandle. The Yotes are getting legitimate 2nd line center putting up 1st line numbers atm and a 1st round draft pick. It's not OEL they're dealing away, Yandle doesn't have that much value. Maybe give Peverley to Phoenix instead and add someone like Paajarvi from Edmonton to Boston.

EDM:
Lucic
Boychuk

PHX:
Gagner
Peverley
2014 1st

BOS:
Yandle
Paajarvi

I think it's bad for all teams involved, but Edmonton doesn't get whipped as badly as the other teams.

Peverley not score many goal

Peverley have little Value

He's having an off year after probably his best year in his entire CAREER if Hal Gill didn't bust his knee. He still has all the speed he used to have, and is still great defensively, so you are kidding yourself if you think he doesn't have much value.

Its not as bad as a lot of people in here are saying, it does need to be tinkered with a bit though. I guess Gagner's lack of "HF value" kills this proposal.

Yep. Boston needs something else, but Phoenix is actually making out quite well.

I still think it's easier to just cut Phoenix out of the deal though. How many 3 way trades do you see in the NHL? It'd also probably cost Edmonton less...
