I just hope we don't face teams like Philly, Leafs or Rangers in the first round. Those teams tend to play physical and make it hard to get to the next round without collateral damage to your line up.

Much rather play Ottawa, Jersey, Isles etc. who play a less physical style so we have a better chance of staying healthy.

What I like is that, no matter how this finish, it seems like we're gonna face a team that we haven't played against in the playoffs since a long time (or never). It could be Ottawa, Toronto, the Islanders, the Rangers or Winnipeg. New rivalries?

But Devils and Flyers are still a possibility.

Even though I think we can take Philly this year there's just something that makes me nervous about facing them in Playoffs after last few years.. So anyone in bottom 4 but Philly please

i think it's a pretty good bet that if we finish in 4th, we'll get Leafs or Sens...if we finish 1st or 2nd --one of NJ/NYI/NYR

Hey, careful now. According to some posters here, we're not in the playoffs yet...

So everybody think Pens will hold on to the 1st without Crosby? (+ possibly Neil, Letang, Martin...).

1-Habs
2-Pens
3-Caps
4-Bruins
5-Leafs
6-Rangers
7-Islanders
8-Sens

Interesting matchups :

Habs-Sens
Bruins-Leafs
Pens-Islanders
Caps-Rangers
