And he only has one more year left at that rate. It's a very manageable contract unlike Luongo's (who will be lucky to get moved for a bag of pucks at this point).
I'm willing to bet whatever top team gets knocked off during the playoffs will be willing to snap up Miller for whatever price Regier will ask for.

if/after we lose to the Habs, Enroth should become the defacto starter. I'd say we give Leggio a shot too, but with the recall limit and the Amreks on a run to the playoffs that'd be plain 'ol ******

****** enough for a top 3 pick?

Seriously though, Miller isn't going to be around forever, and I can't see this team making a deep playoff run next year. The time is now to start making the Goaltender change. That way, the sabres MIGHT have something figured out for 14-15 season, when the rebuild is shaping up more

If Miller gets moved, my guess is a platoon with Hackett or Leggio. He's looked worlds better since Lindy left but that's only been a few games. If we get that version of him, he'll be a starter in two years.

Sorry, he's too damn small. He's quick, alert and a VERY good goalie but he just doesn't take up enough net IN THE NHL.

lol, what a ridiculous statement. If he isn't good enough, then he isn't good enough...but I don't think his size will have anything to do with it. It means he has to adjust how far out he goes to cut off angles, and that's about it.

The league has trended Away from smaller goalies and towards tall, athletic keepers. Like it or not, right or wrong, size is some sort of consideration IMO
