Time to put Tuesday's loss behind us and focus on celebrating the 31st anniversary of what is (for the first time) the second greatest moment in Kings' history, the Miracle on Manchester.
For me, two images stand out almost as much as Daryl's Scott Hamilton impression...
One was the smarmy caca-consuming grin on Glen Sather's face (get well soon Slats) and how you could seemingly see the anguish on Grant Fuhr's face even with the old fiberglass mask on.
Still seems weird that to think that after all this time this is suddenly only the second greatest moment in team history.
I have it in mind all of the time...like when we were up by 5 goals late third with 5 min to play in game 6.
I know exactly what you mean. Did you watch the 12th Stanley Cup Moments video? What DL said was precisely how I felt.... 10:00 left still nervous, 5:00 left a little less nervous, ENG "Oh yeah, we got this."
