Phaneuf on Nash and we win.

We can always sign Lebda to shutdown Richards.

Randy Carlyle challenged Joe Colborne to play with more fire burn the ice, Joe agreed. We will see what this means, but looks like RC wants to see what Joe can do before the playoffs.

My fear is the bottom pairing.

Fraser- Franson.

It's steady, but expect Torts to exploit that pairing due to poor mobility by Franson. Don't mistaken me, Franson is top-4 offensively, but when you have Fraser covering him defensively, you're bound to get beaten by guys like Nash. Besides, Fraser isn't Dion and I really expect O'Byrne to be used extensively.

Seeing that Carlyle likes to rotate lines, I wonder if O'Byrne will replace replace Gunnar during shut down duties. If he can log higher minutes, it'd be wise to slot him in for Frason during defensive roles.

1. Dion - O'Byrne

3. Fraser - O'Byrne

May help in containing Nash.

might be the hardest game we have left to play - Rangers will be even more desperate. but the Leafs are the better team so we'll see what happens...

Great GDT.

Here's hoping Colborne gets a longer look and Kessel builds off his last game.

This is going to be Grabovski's breakout game. With all of the struggles that he's had this season and the big output from the top line on monday, the Rangers are going to key on them and this is where Grabo has to step up and pot one or set up a couple.

Burn the boats! We only have about...38 more boats to burn.

Didn't he already do that last game?

I thought he played great. Good along the boards, was physical (dumb penalty on the icing call, but I can't blame him, Lundqvist never had his hand up, ref never yelled icing), he also had one prolonged cycle in their zone.

All in all, a very good game for a big guy playing 4th line.

Burn the boats.

I say we line the blue paint with swords so Rick Nash can refrain from doing that stupid power move to the net that works in every game against every team in the history of the NHL followed by the broadcasters screaming in excitement at the power and wingspan of the great Rick Nash.

God, I hate Rick Nash.

I thought the game was tomorrow. What a pleasent surprise

Time to end NYR's playoff hopes tonight. Gotta come out skating like Monday, and make sure Phaneuf is on the ice every time Nash the beast is on. He's gonna eat up the other guys it seems.

Go Leafs Go!!

We've got one of the toughest schedules to end the season! 8/10 games are against playoff teams. Go .500 there so that is 8 points, and win against Tampa/Florida for a total of 60 points.

If that happens, the Leafs will have played at 103 point pace.

Thank god the Leafs went on a winning streak after having a mini losing streak. I don't think I could handle being 7th/8th and hoping for out of town results to go our way.

This game is in New York? If so, Carlyle is going to have to work extra hard to get Phaneuf on the ice against Nash.

Will be interesting to see how the Leafs play in this "must win" away game.

Fact:

Toronto Harbour has filed for bankruptcy citing all boats having been burned as the cause.

This would be the perfect time for Kessel to get hot, right before the playoffs.

Whenever he does that power move to the net, I don't know why goalies shy away from the two pad stack against it... take away the bottom of the net and a poke check for the cut across the crease neutralizes this attack well.

Marty does this a lot with great effectiveness!
