We don't clear the crease anymore. I guess they're saving that for Jones.

Damn it, I went looking for Wideman laughing at Gio and I return and see they're up another goal

Solid effort tonight. Too bad we fell apart for a few minutes defensively, and I guess that all it took. The young guns look amazing out there.

After Gio blows a tire, when they zoom in on Wideman with the puck behind his own net

Really impressed with the young guys, except Jones, he looked pretty bad.

God damn, is it bad or good that I feel more comfortable with Brodie on the ice than Gio? Kids got ****ing talent, can't get enough of it. All the young kids impressed me hugely, I think Reinhart makes this team next year, take what he's learned in the offseason and put a little more mass on, and come out flying. It's nice to know we actually have a couple decent kids to start a rebuild with.

26 minutes for Brodie tonight. Could anybody tell me what he's averaged since Bouws trade?

Sven needs more time in the AHL. You can tell he wants to score, he just cant do it yet.

Agree 100% on all points. I also have lost faith in Jordano or whatever his name is. I miss Gio.

Just over 24 minutes a night, -2 in 6 games on a team that is -14 in the same time. He has been a rock.

Brodie, Reinhart, Horak, Stempniak, and of course, Kiprusoff were phenomenal.

Vets like Tanguay are clearly just going through the motions. I'm not impressed.

Tanguay was fine last night, tonight he looked disinterested. It isn't that surprising the players that thought they were coming here to be part of a playoff team playing with Iginla have looked disheartened on some nights. Players like Rienhart, Horak, Brodie etc are proving themselves for next year and contracts. Kipper has started to find his game to bad he was **** for the first few months.

it'll be interesting to see if he will stay or leave... i mean he would be a valuable asset as a veteran to the younger guys... but he will most likely bolt, as he's never been on a competitive team

I'd trade him lol.
I like his play, but it's streaky as hell, and I think you could get a nice little return for Stemp. May wait to next trade deadline though.

Offseason. With the cap dropping, and many teams looking for scoring help, I could see a lot of teams showing interest, especially at his price.

Looks like Kipper and the 'future' had a good game. I thought Kipper would do better now that the trade deadline's passed and anxiety over a potential trade isn't there anymore. He certainly does look more calm and focused out there.

At least the Avalanche won today.

It depends on the return, I think a team desperate for scoring would move a 3rd + solid prospect or 2nd + late pick but knowing Feaster we would get 6 'owski's and only 2 played hockey with a Big Mac meal thrown in.

Dunno, always seems to me that more money gets thrown around, around the deadline. Where in a lower end draft year, champions of the game like Paul Gaustad start getting 1st as returns lol.

I mean, if there's a deal to be had in the offseason, that's worth a damn, do it, definitely.
