It's the masters and it doesn't even get it's own thread on the team boards. :

18min until live coverage.

Sucks the Golf channel wasn't showing it before it goes to TSN like they do with other tourneys.

Just glad TSN is finally in HD on rogers. Golf in regular def just sucks.

I just want a close tourney.

had a feeling he'd miss that short birdie....I think key for him today is to finish in the red...ideally,-3/-4....

Just a hair off on that tee shot on 16...6" more fade on that ball and it probably stays on the upper shelf and he's got a very makeable birdie putt.

Scoring conditions too and Phil's having a rough go of it. Trying to adjust to a new driver and putter at a major is probably ill-advised, but then again he's always been one to consistently update his golf bag. If he can get it together, I have no doubt it won't be an issue. Friday and Saturday have always been his days anyway, once he gets into the "swing" of things.

It's absolutely stupid that by the time the TV coverage started, everyone in the field had already teed off, and a good chunk of the field had already finished for the day, too.

That's Phil. He does things his way no doubt. Always makes it more interesting if he is in the hunt come sunday. As I type this he just made an incredible shot out of the trees on 9.

Have to love my fellow lefties, pulling off ridiculous shots with slices and snap hooks. That was a great shot, and he had to nut it too, just to get it around the tree.

Rooting as always for my boy Freddie Couples though. Been my favorite since I was a kid. Would also like to see Dufner have a good week, guy packs more lips than me:

Absurd. If he makes the cut, wow. Expect to see him for years to come.

Freddie just drained another putt for par from outside of fifteen feet. Hells yes.

At first, I thought you were making a joke. Apparently not. First time watching the par 3 contest?

Expected that this would happen eventually, just always thought Augusta would be the last to change. Even more amazed that it's happened in such a rapid and obvious way. I've been watching golf since I was seven years old and didn't need to watch a bunch of kids treat a course that most golfers call holy like a sandbox. I get it, they are selling the family side. And ultimately, it doesn't matter as it isn't during the competition.

It could have been accomplished in a much more professional manner, however, I didn't expect it to be so in your face. This year I guess it's all being put out there. I thought the children side of things was solely brought in for a selling ploy used by the USGA and it was way over the top. Then again I'm a bit negative when it comes to those type of things. I don't tend to take those gimmicks all that well, so it might be just me. Surprised with Billy Payne too.
OMG. Since you were 7? Not sure how long that is, but I'd guess not very. I'd also guess you're not a golfer and don't have kids.

.
So 20 years of watching it. I am a golfer, and no I don't have any kids, more just distaste for the motive behind the whole situation. But hey way to miss the point, great job!

Whatever though, you can't take constructive criticism of a situation that has gained steam, and is being discussed other places. Guess I'll make my way over to that site...

I literally cannot stand fowler. This puma trend needs to die in a fire. We're not at a skateboarding park. Its a ******* golf course, he looks like a clown. Ugly ass straight brimmed hats. What an embarrassment. Hope he never wins again...
