Smooth roll too.

Excited to see what Kuchar can do.

14 year old youngster Tianlang Guan looks like he will be finishing at +2. That is just crazy.

Just started watching, impressive that it is streamed on TSN.

I bet Tiger would win against the field for a beer.

Guan drains a birdie on 18 for one over.

Not to be outdone, by Ben Crenshaw!

It really is remarkable. Hoping he makes the cut... what a bright future.

Just love his swing. Has not changed a bit over the years even with his back problems.

Yup. Just a thing of beauty and I always marveled at it as my swing has flaws, how someone can have a swing that smooth. The injuries have crept up and piled on that back and if it were healthy, I have no doubt he would probably won a couple of majors in addition to the green jacket.

Smoothes swing and plays with ice water in his veins. Doesn't play for position or standing, plays to win, no matter the tourney.

My swing is totally opposite. It's pretty much to the hip and rip.

hahahaha. I honestly am a subscriber to the philosophy that if it works for you, don't change it. There's always little tinkering and whatnot that goes on, but to make fundamental changes is just such a setback, which is what makes Tiger's career all that more amazing.

Freddie just plunking it today, again.

My ugly swing did have me at a 4 handicap at one time when I played 4 rounds a game back in my 30's. Now that I'm 51 and play maybe 10 times a year it's up around 12. Once I'm done chasing my kids around year round with hockey I will get back into it more. Couple more years.

That Tianling kid can't be 14 years old. I need to see some kind of birth certificate. Amazing day for him though, super impressed.

Hopefully Dustin Johnson can stay in contention since he was one of my darkhorse picks.

Bubba had a disappointing day but I was pretty much expecting it. Hopefully Phil can close out the last couple of holes well. Mike Weir had a decent day. Ted Potter Jr. carded a +4 but I'll give a pass for winning the par 3 contest. Not too bad for the lefties.

Freddie bogeyed 18 and he clearly isn't too happy about it. Just missed it falling in back door. only down two strokes to the leader.

Sergio, DJ, Kuchar, Fowler, Couples littering the top of the board.

My picks this year in my pool that I won last year were Tiger, Bradley, Dufner, and Phil. I hate doing the popular pick, which is why Bubba won me it last year as he wasn't really a favorite. A name to keep in mind, but not really a favorite, similar to Justin Rose or Luke Donald this year. Kind of wish I swapped out Keegan for Freddie as he's my favorite, but I went with the homer pick as Keegans' from New England.

Really hoping tomorrow gets some sun. Great day for scoring today and would like the rain to hold off or at least miss Augusta.

Yep.

I'm a righty with most things, but I golf lefty. I guess it's because I played hockey first as a left handed shot and swinging golf clubs lefty just felt natural. Pretty much like Mike Weir in that respect.

Hope the rain stays away tomorrow. I have nothing better to do since our weather sucks up here. Spring has not sprung. Still have plenty of snow on the ground.

Nice to see Lefty get in red figures. Freddie is right there and hope to say that come sunday. If I wanted one guy to win it right now it would be Sergio. The guy needs one major on his belt. Just like the guy.
