Thanks. Sorry for the late reply...killing myself trying to get my Jeep is selling order. I live just outside Boston in the town of Waltham - so well outside the blast area. The finish line of the marathon is only a few blocks from my school...everyone I know is okay as far as I know.

Unfortunately Waltham is right next to Watertown which is where all this new stuff is happening. I'm currently on lockdown in my house. Can't wait to watch the game tonight.

Haha. I drank too much last night so today was going to be an "in" day anyways.

Technology craziness.

They're covering the story of chasing suspect #2. They hear he's in a boat. The news then shows a) google aerial photo of the house showing the boat b) google streetview in front of the house, also showing the boat.

edit: Brian Williams seems pretty well versed on the weaponry and gadgets that the SWAT teams use. I wonder if he played Rainbow Six?

Niceness. How did you like Northwestern btw? I'd love to get my masters there since I love Chicago and NU is a great school. Plus, I want my resume to say Northeastern then Northwestern just to see the reactions I get from potential employers.

It's a great school, sports are meh at best. Club hockey when I was there, I assume its still there. Don't go more than 6-8 blocks west though or it got real ghetto real fast. EL is extremely convenient for Chicago. Zero nightlife in Evanston. If you go north and don't have a nice car, you may get looks, or even followed through Winnetka by the police if the car is too crappy.

Granted, this is all 2+ decades ago.

Oblivion - good but not great. Worth seeing on the large screen for the visuals.

I don't want to see it, even on the big screen, and I can do so for free. Jurassic Park 3D on the other hand was worth it.
