What Happened?

This sounds like a troll..(It really isn't)

But what happened? I enjoyed playing the Sabres, cause it was a tough matchup and a good rivalry. That was one of the most one sided loses I've ever seen, it was disgusting with your effort (no offence) but that was bad.. Anyways good luck in the off-season, you don't deserve that effort.

Last question... Myers? What happened?

Bad players, bad chemistry, zero confidence, and zero competitiveness.

simple as that.

What happened?

He experienced success in his rookie year and thought the rest of his career would be peaches and cream.

He hasn't been good in three years and he, alone, is the reason for that.

Nice game, you managed to improve your record to 2-3 against this horrible Buffalo team this year.

Awards:
Poor mix of players and a stale coach to start the year, coupled with some guys clearly not being in game shape who were being asked to fill big roles lead to an early slump. They have basically torn themselves apart since that early season swoon -- the effort has been hit-or-miss, mostly miss, most nights from too many guys. Too many of the forwards aren't effective at coming back hard nor holding their position long enough to give the D an outlet. If they are, they or the D are making soft, non-competitive plays on the puck resulting in turnovers and chances against. They give up shots all the time, chronically making mistakes in their own zone over and over again.

You can't say offensive **** and follow it up with "no offense".. We know we suck. Do we need to explain why we suck to the outside world? I don't think so.

(I'm ****ing cranky. This **** doesn't help)

As for what happened last night, it was a letdown game after losing their last possible chance at the playoffs the other night in Winnipeg. The last of the air was let out of the balloon, and you could tell there was a lot of frustration being let out in the form of bad penalties. You're right, it was a disgusting effort, even for how bad this season is. It doesn't upset me too much though since the goal now is a high draft position. A chunk of these guys won't be around when it counts in 2014-15 anyway.

BTW, the future captain should not be a guy licking another player's visor. Stupid antics like that, during a wasted night, is not captain material.

If the Habs can bounce back after last year, so can the Sabres. Last year, everything that could go wrong went wrong for the Habs. Change the GM, coach, and bring in some real leaders to fill roles that were never filled off-ice, and it's a complete flip.

I was really surprised that Regier kept his job. I think a top down cleaning house was in order.

At this point, the best thing the Sabres can do is tank the rest of the way and hope to finish as low as possible. There's some really top end talent available at the draft, and that be a great boost to a club.

Sabres will be back.

Thank you for saying this.

I'm sick of people thinking this is his only bad year.

Dude's been overrated since his sophomore season.

Boom

OP just watch the Sabres Flyers game tomorrow.

NBC will clearly lay it all out for you. Again, and again, and again

Regier tried to build a 'Stanley Cup in 1 season' last year forgetting that you need two successful scoring lines at least to be successful and at least 4 centers. Wingers who can skate and some grit help.

Myers needs to rebuild his game and grow in to what is expected of someone with his talent. It will take him longer than most to mature because of his size and skill. Being labelled 'a guarantee for a Norris trophy nomination next year' after your rookie year can screw with your head as a 20 year old.
