I'd love for a team to stop and boo the fans once.

Not into the game? Boo the fans.
Too lazy to stand and cheer for the upcoming PP? Boo the fans.

Whine too much on the forums? Boo the fans!

Opponents don't respect our ability to carry the puck in, we get stood up at the blue-line. Not enough talent/speed on this team to get around those players very often, leads to the dump and chase.

As for shots, I could care less about the PP, I'm talking even strength. Nobody wants to shoot except Setoguchi(Spurgeon and Parise have their moments as well), and it shows with how tight opponents play on him because they know his skill-set is limited. It sickens me every time a player passes up a shot for a low-percentage pass even strength, and it happens way too often.

Honestly I think this team will do a lot better on the road than at home.

Eh, being relentlessly and unjustifiably positive is only slightly more annoying than being relentlessly and unjustifiably negative

Better have the bad stretch here than in the playoffs.

Would be nice if the Wild finish strong like they've done in previous years as it would actually help us this season rather than hurt us like in the past.

I liked Yeos message tonight

But you have to show up with your team and your actions have to speak. This is the home stretch.. You cant allow your team to fall off the deep end now.

I agree, even when the Wild have been at their best the X is like a funeral. It's a bunch of entitled fans expecting greatness to happen on every play, and when it doesn't booing like a bunch of morons.

This team is so much better than it's been in years, and all we hear is the negatives.

Re-watching some parts of the game, I didn't really notice where/when Suter felt bad.

It seems odd.

We do have some easier games coming up.

Rest of the schedule:

vs. Columbus
@ Calgary
@ Edmonton
@ San Jose
vs. Calgary
vs. LA
vs. Edmonton
@ Colorado

We should win 6 of those. At worst, I think we need to win 4.

You know, every game I've been to that the Wild played well, the fans were loud and crazy. Every game I've been to that the Wild have been bad, the fans have been quiet and restless.

How often are the Wild just flat out dominant at home? Maybe five games a year?

Next game will be so huge.

Hopefully they keep playing better and better and just beat CBJ again.

That's something a lot of people are forgetting.

The Wild is "lucky" unlike most teams.

Problem is, fans of this team are one or the other. There is very little in between. Or you get this stupid mentality the local fans have is this always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Then it's 'Oh, we're conditioned for it. Our teams always do this to us. How do you expect us to act?' It's pretty embarrassing.

The Minnesota way. And the local talking heads just reinforce the mentality in most cases.
