The Hurricanes have a more productive offense and a better defense, the Hitmen are clearly the underdog. I don't know if to root for them, or hoping for an quick exit...which could mean Konstantin to Manchester for the AHL playoff
As much as I'd like to see Push get playoff experience, I think it would be awesome for him to spend the remainder of the season in Manchester and maybe get in some playoff games in.
He could play in any remaining regular Season games but no other games.
thats not true at all. The Flyers had Jeff Carter and Stefan Ruzicka play in the Phantoms playoff games last season once their junior season was done. Ruzicka played in only 1 or 2 games, But Carter played just about every playoff game for the Phantoms. So junior players are available for playoff games.

Not a happy debut for Konstantin, but maybe it was for our Manchester gang who's waiting for him
Lehtbridge-Calgary 2-1
Pushky was held scoreless, but he was voted 2nd Star of the game, which is pretty amazing considering he's an offensive player. I'll go ask something at the Flames board. Game2 will be tonite.
Now Calgary leads 2-1 in the series, game4 is tonite.
Konstantin still has to score his first playoff point...maybe he's keeping all of them for the Monarchs, considering they'll sign for the AHL playoff
Pushkarev sounded pretty good last night. I missed most of the game, but the announcers were talking about him late in the game.
First of all, apparently he gave up defensively early in the game. This was brought up because they were giving props to Getzlaf for getting back and covering defensively when Pushkarev did not.
There was also a time or two when Pushkarev held onto the puck for too long before it got taken away.
But the good thing that came out was the physical game Pushkarev was playing. The announcer essentially said, "Pushy laid out the two hardest checks I've ever seen him lay out, and they were ten seconds apart."
Also: "Here's what I think is a discussion between Kisio and Pushkarev, 'Pushkarev, play more physical.' And he has."
Brandon comes back after being buried under 10 goals in game1.
Not a great night for Konstantin, not all: he was held scoreless, he had no shots, he was a -2

But in that 10-1 game he had 4 assists. I'll take those 2 games combined and run with em.
Brandon won also Game6, tying the series at 3. Now the Hitmen have to win game7 on the road if they want to make it to the next round. It goes without saying it could be Konstantin last game of the season.
I mean, last game of the season in the WHL...
I was thinking if the Monarchs can sign him, but I don't know about the VISA issue.

I'm not sure but he's in a bit different of a situation in that he IS signed to a Kings contract so there may be a visa in place??? Hopefully the Hitmen pull it out and keep going...He probably wouldn't see much if any game time in Manchester during the playoffs...
