To the Panthers credit they are working very hard and hitting the Bruins. Might not be a Bruin cakewalk.

This is easily a Bruins win, but florida is hitting. I notice Redden is dressed. They don't want more injuries. Who knows what's up with Horton. Iginla might have hurt them doubly last game.

Bruins getting checked hard is at least the same treatment we've been getting and MIGHT wear them down for this week. That's about the best thing that can happen outside of what I would not wish for. Oh and a massive Habs in the last week-esque choke job for a FLA reg. win.

I still don't understand why they are letting Horton fight when he has such a serious concussion history. I thought their toughness was supposed to prevent things like that. At least when Emelin recklessly fought it was in response to his own actions.

But man, that Panthers tank is something special.

I didn't even see any punches thrown in that fight if you call it that. It was more like Iggy throwing Horton down in a spin.

Apparently the Leafs are the team with the worst shot differential to make the playoffs since the 2002 Therrien Habs.

In other words, Reimer is the new Theodore.

He can do what he wants, but I'm not sure why I soon to be free agent with a concussion history would potentially hurt himself and his team like that. It's not like the Bruins don't have other guys who would have loved to jump in.

Horton hit Iginla, Iggy dropped the gloves, and Horton obliged, so he was responding to his own actions. But I agree with you, lately nobody has really been responding to hits on our top scorers, or guys with concussion histories, which I'm not happy about.

The Devils offense is pretty terrible, I say play Carey against them and let him try and build some confidence.

Pens or Boston (or even Washington) will have their hands full with the Rangers.
Since trades at deadline they managed to rebuild their bottom-9 to a similar level as they were before getting Nash.

If one team can surprise in first round, it is the Rangers.

They are ahead 3-0 and if they win today, WPG is out of the PO.
Their next three games are against FLA, CAR and NJD...

They look good... in their last 2 games.

Beat the worst team in the league in Florida and beating another team that's been on a long decline for the past month.

Take how the Rangers do with a grain of salt as these aren't even decent teams at this point.

However, they'd probably destroy Montreal.

Not quite, If the Rangers win they will have a 3 point lead with both team having 3 games remaining. Also, the Caps have a 3pt lead over Winnipeg with both team having 3 games remaining and 1 against each other.

Jets are still alive.

Calgary winning their way out of the top 5, what a great time to start to try. Watch feaster trade down into the teens and pick off the board.

http://penguinslegends.blogspot.ca/2...chel-dion.html

Never drafted by a NHL team, it was the Nordiques who landed Dion in the special dispersal draft. He would play valiantly for about a season and a half, but perhaps his most memorable game in Quebec was his last. On Dec. 10, 1980, he skated off the ice after allowing four goals to the Boston Bruins in less than half the game. He threw his gloves, mask and stick over the boards, and quit. The Nordiques suspended him and, eight days later, put him on waivers.

True.

At least our outright worst in the NHL play of late (we are just as much embarrassing if you take out context and just consider play) is due to hitting a wall and not downright tanking again. Like at some point you should be relegated or fined. Bettman knows what trolling is, right? (I mean he is a troll, after all.) He needs to force them to give up one of their top picks before drafting this year. Put a cap on that ****.

Drill baby drill...to the bottom of the standings.

I can't believe the Flames 2nd is going to end up being late 30s after looking like a lock to be high 30s. On the bright side, the Preds are lower than expected.

Since the Flames are probably convincing Feaster that they are contenders, we should trade for the Flames first round pick after the season.
