Terrible event in Boston, prayers.

Sens game tonight expected to be cancelled but this not confirmed, seems there is no other time the teams could play a makeup this season. Play it in an empty arena?

Yeah that's a tough call. There really isn't any time, and I doubt they're allowed to risk having the arena open.

Prayers and wishes to everyone in Boston. Fingers crossed for no fatalities but even then, the damage has been done.

I'm not sure where my buddy is seeing it, but he's texting me some pretty graphic **** he's seeing in pictures. There's definitely casualties.

I just got to add and not to take away from the tragedy, but Edmonton is so ****ed.

Absolutely horrible news today. This isn't the place to speculate but we know there's at least two casualties and other bombs that didn't go off, so this could have been even worse.

Bruins game was called off.

And in hockey news, here's Andrei Kostitsyn keeping his team alive in the KHL finals.

More window dressing in Edmonton. I can't say which team in Alberta has the worse management but it sure seems like Edmonton has no chance of getting out of theirs. Just the absolute bottom of the league.

They had the perfect chance to attract potential GMs since they have all those young stars, but instead they rush and out McT in there

I'd even put Burke in there before McT and Howsen, though I don't think Lowe would ever go for that. Just awful management.

You think a control freak like Lowe would ever put anyone in charge that was outspoken and not a puppet? It's pretty damn clear Lowe has a iron hold on that team no matter his position. They need a top to bottom firing and that will have to come from the owner.

Oh, I agree. I just meant because Lowe and Burke have a history of dislike towards one another.

Hate to hear the sad news in Boston.

They have a "person of interest" in custody. He survived the blast.

Cell service is shut down because a cell phone was believed to have triggered the explosions. Ugly day in America.

we live in a sick world. Boston will bounce back stronger from this.

Thoughts are with everyone affected by this.
