Roadrunners games on the Score!

http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam030923/ahl_tor-cp.html

Note: The Roadrunners haven't played a game yet and already they're a step ahead of their Canadian AHL cousins when it comes to television. The Score will televise 10 games nationally with Steve Kouleas, an anchor at The Score, doing the play by play. Rogers Sportsnet will also have a handful of games as part of its AHL package.

Nice.

excellent!
exposure is everything. if this team can't survive in a city of 4 million people then there's a problem. whenever the Oilers are in Toronto the ACC is full of Oiler fans.

Does anyone know if any Toronto radio stations have the rights to the games this year?

That crappy country station in Hamilton had the games last year, and it would be awesome if another station here would pick up the Roadrunner games...

If I'm reading this right, sportsnet subscribers on digital cable or satellite can get all 10 Roadrunner games, in addition to 10 additional games on The Score.

Last year I saw maybe 5 Bulldog games, including playoffs. Now I can see 20 Roadrunner contests, not including playoffs? Life is good.

My wife is going to just love this news.

It gets better.

"Sportsnet's digital cable and satellite customers nationwide will see all 13 regular-season broadcasts live."
