Good draft IMO?

I would have liked a safety at 30 over ogletree, but his boom or bust status makes it interesting.

Love the Zack Stacy pick.

If you're a native St. Louisan and the words, "I'm not a Cardinals fan" come out of your mouth:

I know some people living in STL who don't like the Rams either.

Personally, I grew up watching other teams, so that was a major factor. Then, when the Rams came it dropped the Blues down to 3rd string in STL. Never really cared for that. Never liked Rams ownership. After the Super Bowl team, the franchise became an utter pile of garbage (more than just on the field). Basically, nothing attracted me to the Rams.

As for the Cards, I follow them intermittently through standings and statistics. I like the Cards history and even its players, but I really dislike there management group. Plus, watching them would require an extra investment on my end and that money is going to watch the Blues.

Wow. If Wigginton wasn't a completely usesless piece of crap, we would be a basehit to the outfield away from a tie game. Thanks Mo for signing this great asset to the team for the next two years.

I'm just not sure how people can watch baseball. Too many pauses and not anywhere near the amount of action to even make up for the pauses.

I can watch baseball if the pitcher is pitching well. Its pretty opposite of most baseball fans, but I love a pitchers duel. I guess I'm one of the few people who thinks watching a pitcher work isnt boring .

I love baseball, for longer than the NHL but really just the Cardinals.

Ooh Game of Thrones, yes. Off with Joffrey's head already.

Yeah....you haven't read these books have you.

(I love the series, but I watch after the season comes out on video...so I've only watched the first 2 season).

Watching now after having read the existing books. Some of the show's departures from the books bother me...
Spoil:
Like how they're handling the relationship between Stanis and Melisandre, etc.

...but overall I think it's a strong show. I have some hypotheses about where this is all ultimately headed, but I'll save that discussion for another day.

I've met George RR Martin, the writer/creator. (This was before the show began to air, so we were talking about the novels.) I got the distinct impression that he was never going to finish the story....just more interested in traveling and enjoying the success. But I believe there is a 7 year contract for HBO, so I think the pressure of having a 7 season show is going to motivate him. So far he still has published material for the next season, but then it starts to get tighter.

I was thinking about the Rams red zone offense (if they can get there this year) and I just couldn't be more excited. You'd have Cook and Quick as the big targets in the corner, you'd have Givens and Bailey sneaking underneath, and you'd have Austin...pretty much anywhere you want him.

I am unbelievably happy with this draft. Snead and Fisher know what they're doing. And I think we got the steal of the draft getting Jones in the 4th round.

Is it September yet?

Love the Rams draft. Should be a very entertaining team next season. Explosive with good team speed on both side of the ball.

Watching Albert sink to .244 with 2 homers, I don't think he will ever make another all star team. Hamilton taking some of the heat off of him but unlike last year the Angels starting pitching is not a strong point and I don't see them competing for a playoff spot. Wonder what Albert's final numbers are going to be?

It is April 29, 2013.

I am banging the table right now for Marqise Lee in the 2014 NFL draft.

After pujols left I bet one of my friends he would never hit .300 again. I stand by that prediction.

Yep. Some of my friends were losing their mind when he left, but everyone who watched the Cards could see he was on a downward trend. He really did the Cards a favor by signing elsewhere. The money the Cards saved by not signing him helped pay for Yadi, Waino, and Craig's new contract. Future savings should help sign Tavaras, Wacha, Wong etc. Cards management definitely did the right thing.

I used to be in to baseball but it is just not fun anymore. Just not exciting. Maybe I'll watch the playoffs but that's it. Even then I will turn the game off if it is boring.
