Chicago v. Detroit

A repeat of last game would be most welcome. Wings play the Sharks tonight so hopefully they will be ripe for the picking.

Crawford shutout but takes delay of game penalty with 2 minutes left and has his mental toughness questioned.

You’re dislike for Emery is rearing it’s ugly head again. Last I looked, the starting goalie for Hawks was not announced but whoever gets the nod Friday will again be under close scrutiny. I think it should be Emery once again, for a variety of reasons..

This could be a preview of our first round match up. It will be interesting to see if Q continues to experiment with the 2nd line. Last game he had Shaw, Kruger and Sharp there at various times.

Looking like this will be our first round matchup. Hopefully, the regular season success against them translates into post season success.

Coldsteel has a known dislike for Emery, but in regards to the post you quoted I think you're seeing something that just isn't there.

I'm not sure. Phoenix and Dallas are right on their heels. Detroit is a great 1st round match up for the Hawks. Don't have dominating goal tending, not overly physical, weak defensively. The Wings are sort of a poor mans version of the Hawks this year.

Hoping the Hawks win this one in regulation. Anything to be a part of ending the Wings playoff streak as they leave the conference.

I would much rather see them grab the #8 seed and end up facing the Hawks in the first round. That would be a much nicer sendoff.

If St. Louis drops at least point against Minnesota tonight, we have a chance at the division title tomorrow night.

I have no clue where to post this, so I'll do it here.

I just saw a girl with an authentic practice jersey of Teuvo Teräväinen. I am not aware of prospects having TC, prospect camp, or practice jerseys for sale anywhere with player names on the back. Maybe she has a connection and got his actual jersey. It was a red one that looked identical to the prospect camp one. It wasn't a Chinese knockoff or anything. Someone help me out. I can't believe some random girl would have something like that. It was pretty wicked.

Why couldn't she have just bought a plain one and had it made up as a TT?

I did not see on the front. I don't recall if they had patches on the prospect camp jerseys when I have gone the last few years.

I know for a fact, though, that the nameplate and numbers were screen-printed. They were in this case. I'll be keeping my out for it.

any news good or bad on Sharp?

he took a nasty boarding non call late in the game and he didn't seem too hot on the bench following...hoping he didn't re-injury his shoulder...

You can order the practice jerseys from the NHL website with anyone's name on it.

oh and by the way, the Wings look like dog **** lately. Better be an easy W.

I think Detroit's going to play pretty well just to save face. The Hawks are just too good for them and will eke out a 1- or 2-goal victory.

Well i'm a little worried about this game, because i know Crawford is in net for the Hawks, he hasn't been play in the last 2 games, so i hope he is ready to play against the Detroit Red Wings.
