What a horrible game

The Good -

- Kaleta unloading on the Lauridsen. Welcome to the pro's punk.
- Enroth had a couple of superior saves on scrambles.
- Ruhwedel looked pretty good for a first-game pro. Granted, the Flyers are a freaking mess and he got a lot of o-zone starts with the Hodgson line in front of him.
- Ennis. I thought Tyler was engaged from puck-drop. Can't say that about his linemates.
- Foligno at center was effective. Again, it may be the competition, but I didn't mind him there today.

The Bad -

- Mason on the goal. Talk about something that should've never gone in.
- Stafford's shooting percentage. At some point, it has to start to come back to the mean, right?
- Lots of passengers today most of the game.

Ugly -

- Rosehill wanted no part of Scott at any point when they were on the ice together. He sprinted away from him in the third after a faceoff. I laughed.
- Claude Giroux is completely asleep.
- Someone had to win this crap-fest.
- #10 with a bullet!!!
- How much of it is injury and how much of it is being checked out... but Vanek is struggling terribly right now.

Good: Enroth

Passable: Ennis, Pysyk, Vanek with a few nice passes

Bad: lol

Ugly: That might have been the worst game I've ever watched.

The Clint Eastwood - Kaleta pounding Lauridsen, Enroth pitching a SO.

The Lee Van Cleef - Ehrhoff's goal moving Buffalo up in the standings.

The Eli Wallach - hockey gods watched this game and wept.

I watched about 15 minutes of this cr*pfest and then decided to take the kids out for lunch instead. Worst "professional" hockey game I've seen in a while.

I didn't watch this game but how is it possible for a team to suck worse than us??? And not even score a goal?? On the Buffalo Sabres?? The team that signed and plugged in an NCAA Dman yesterday??

As bad as some think the Sabres are, there really are a handful of teams worse.

Hell, the Sabres are 15-10-4 against the "good" divisions. If they'd carried that points percentage over into the SE, they'd have 49 points altogether, or tied for 5th in the conference.

Obviously, "ifs" don't mean a thing, but it's something to look at.

Honestly, I feel like a jerk. We stayed for 2 full periods but left before the third. It was bad.

G: I passed up a free ticket to today's game because I honestly felt like "free" wasn't even worth my drive, gas, tolls to make it worth it with this team. I'm glad I'm proven right.

B: Meh

The Good: Kaleta's fight

The Bad: We won

The Ugly: Like the vast majority of Sabres games this year, this game literally did not qualify as "entertainment".

I can't recall a worse or more boring Sabre product, ever.

Of course the Sabres win this game. They are truly a celebration of mediocrity.

With the 13th pick in the 2013 NHL draft, the Buffalo Sabres select...

Good:

- Enroth. Does the team just like him better than Miller? Because they look like they're playing harder.
- Kaleta fight.
- Ennis won a lot of puck battles against bigger players today. Looked good on the wing.

Bad:

- Vanek's got to be hurt. He pulled up on at least two 1-on-1 breaks that I remember to wait for the trailer, when he could've tried to drive on the defender.
- Sabres' odd man rushes.

Ugly:

- Buffalo's iced a team of half AHLers, a LW at C, a hurt star, a rookie defenseman fresh from the F4, and their starting goalie on the bench.... and Philly still lost?

You watched that **** show and actually thought "wow they play harder in front of Enroth"? Who?
I've seen corpses that gave more of **** than they did. Saying three people played hard doesn't equal "Zomg dayz hat Mylar!"

That game was a better effort than against Montreal, but that's not saying much.
