About even. Rangers need to be putting more pressure on the Islanders. You can't leave it till the last ten minutes.

Maybe they forgot the Islanders aren't the same old Islanders anymore and were expecting to be up 7-0.

Disagree. Keep Nabokov on his toes, make him watch his rebounds, have guys crash the net. Better than letting the Isles land a big hit on a guy looking for a nice pass.

Crazy pace to this game. I didn't think it was that bad a period though. Both teams had a handful of solid shifts. Hank and Nash both look like they want this win and they're probably the two guys most capable of forcing it.

Rangers have Lundqvist and very little else going for them.

Way too many give-aways. Have to get better play through the neutral zone, dump and chase isn't working too well.

I have to say the Islanders are fantastic passers in the offensive zone.

You guys are the worst. What exactly about that period was so god awful? They slowed the game down, played tight defense, and kept this 0-0. I suppose you wanted to get into a shootout with these guys?

Spirits up.
So did the fourth line.

I thought our centers looked pretty bad, though.

And to that poster talking about the Bay Ridge Honda girl, damn, you're late. She was there for at least two years now.

Bad period but not terrible.

It's amazing how out of sync they look with each other sometimes. You'd have a hard time convincing they practice.

Caps up 3-0.

Ovie now leads league in goals scored.

Do we really want that 6 seed?
