0-0 into the 3rd. First goal wins it

Need to knock the piss outta someone and deflate the Isles heads a bit.

Exactly, Lundqvist is the only reason we are in the game, and in the 8th seed.

Taking a team thats 8-1-1 in its last ten to the 3rd with a 0-0 tie and trading chances.

Sure do deserve to miss those playoffs though.

Henrik deserves to make it. Not so sure about most of the rest of the team. Especially the defense.

Totally right, how can people say we were dominating that period? Take off the rose colored glasses

More people need to watch games like this that the Rangers play, and then they'll understand why Lundqvist should be the #1 candidate for the Vezina and a candidate for the Hart.

I'm pretty sure a skill most NHLers should have is the ability to receive a pass. This team seems to have forgotten that.

Bombay should come in and use that drill with the eggs. Soft hands.

If I'm Lundqvist, I tell the forwards they should try and join this game because they've sucked so far.

If only Callahan didn't pull a Richards with that empty net chance...

One team showed up to play today and it's not the Rangers.

Oh well. At least this team's collapse should get Torts fired and give Sather a lot of leverage come contract time.

I think its becoming way too reactionary. This is one of the most entertaining and intense games all season long and people are still unhappy. No pleasing this board.

I was wondering when all the good young players the Islanders have (from sucking for so long) would click. I think we are starting to see that.

I don't know if you know this, but the Rangers are the only team that plays games. The other guys just show up and stand around. We don't score 7 goals so we suck.

I didn't see a whole lot of trading out there.

Damn but this game is a lot of fun.

Can't believe that Cally missed that empty net, great work from mcDonald though.

PP was poo aside from the stepan chance, PK was great

Intensity for the 3rd should be insane

Our passing/handling of passes has been absolutely brutal today.
