Nah man, Ryan Strome with his whopping 0.04 PPG more in the regular season is clearly 22 spots better than Scheifele. Who cares if he's scored 39 points in the OHL playoffs, dude falls alot. And PPG in 2 years at the WJC? Doesn't matter, he was the reason they choked vs. Russia.

You're 100% correct, as usual ps.

Lowry won WHL player of the year, and then went to the Rock and got great reviews from the coaches.

Cautious optimism for the future??
Well, so what ..... why didn't he get 5 pts per game the other 17 games ? He's sooooo pathetic !!!! Definitely a wasted pick.

So, reminder, the next game is on Sportsnet One on Friday night - starting at 6:00 pm CST.

Should be a difficult night for Scheif as the Knights have last change and have been pretty much able to corral him during the games held in London.

The most dominant individual player performance that I saw in the WHL playoffs was Brule back in I believe 2006, but even still it falls short of what Mark has accomplished this year. Really looking forward to seeing him here with us next year!

I'm totally ok with the Jets allowing their prospects time to develop...I believe it will be great for his confidence. I hope they do the same for Trouba and whomever they draft 1st round this year.

Well looks like Hunter is blaming the loss on diving

Hope Barrie finishes it this Friday.

With game 5 being televised on SN (and a potential title clincher), I'm thinking a GDT would be appropriate. Anyone want to claim it?

His second and third goals (especially the third) looked like he channeled his inner Stamkos.

I'm really interested to see how his shot translates in the NHL. The release and velocity are definitely there.

Just watched the highlights. Wow, can he ever score from tight angles. Unreal. Even the empty netter was a tough shot.

Back to back 5 point games.

12 points in 4 games against the supposed best team in the OHL. London had the third best GA in the OHL this season, were easily the best team in the regular season, and against a supposed stud prospect goalie.

Ever since returning from the NHL he's been in absolute beast mode. He's discovered an extra gear and it makes me very excited.

Also, got to say, I'm so damn excited to have Memorial Cup tickets. MacKinnon and Drouin vs. Jones and Rattie vs. Scheifele and Ekblad. Damn it's gonna be good.

The London Knights thought they had this one. Mark Scheifele decided he wasn't OK with that. #beastmode

The Jets could sure use a sniper. Scheifele is a sniper.

I noticed that too. It's the falling to one knee by leaning into the shot so much methinks.

Now guys, if Mark got 5 points in back-to-back, imagine how many Couturier would get

Who wants to help me?!
I need a list of NHL forwards (all calibre levels) who played their last eligible season of Junior.
I'm hoping to use it to write an article on Scheifele = awesome

I am too, Hank.

With Scheifele low and Trouba firing bombs from the point, I think our pp will be much better in a couple of years. Much better.
