I'd like Montreal vs Toronto, while Ottawa has Pittsburgh. I don't think we ever played them in the playoffs...

I'm fine with any opponent!

You said realistic, and then put Winnipeg into the ECF.

I think the Rangers-Penguins series would be awesome, and a major upset is likely that way.

I think our offense would fare better against Washington. The big thing with the Caps is not to give them a lot of PPs. If you shut them down on the PP, they should be okay.

I don't want Montreal-Toronto series. That means one of them is going to the semifinals. Toronto-Boston needs to happen!

I meant realistic to get into playoff positions (ie Toronto is in, Ottawa won't have home ice etc.) anything can happen in the playoffs. Remember when Anaheim made it to game 7 of he SCF as a 7 seed.

I'm ok with facing Washington if we make it in. Wpg would be tougher because their home ice advantage would be significant with the whiteout and rabid fans. We tend to play well against Washington in the same way that we seem to always suck against TO on a Sat night.

I don't think I could contain the rage if we lost to Montreal in the playoffs

On the other hand I try to watch Montreal vs Toronto because those games are usually really good although not so much this year, Toronto owns them.

Not Ottawa vs Montreal this season... too many injuries. I would never hear the end of it if we lost!

I'd love to play Pittsburgh in the first round. If not them, Washington wouldn't be too bad.

As a rule I never cheer for matchups, ever. I wanted the second Chicago series as a Canucks fan, look how that went, then cheered for a Van-LAK series...So I never cheer for matchups. Let the cards get dealt and play your hand.

As an off comment, I'd love a Habs-Leafs series. The Habs were pissed at how cocky the Leafs were last night. They sparked a fire under PK, Gallagher and Price.

When the Sens clinch I will be shaving my almost year old beard and starting a new.

habs leafs. The expectations, media and the atmosphere would be intense. And their hf fan bases would provide alot of entertainment as the trolls would be out. But in all seriousness, that would be an amazing series.

Would also mean TSN would be covering us. So its win win all around for us.

i would hate to see either the habs or leafs in the first round. simply because during the regular season when we played these 2 teams, the crowd was 50/50 at Scotiabank. Can you imagine how it will be in the playoffs. The sens would never have home ice advantage.
