Well, my analysis of the Fibonacci numbers says that Fenwick and Corsi are unsustainable as a useful tool.

Well, one important aspect of a stratified sample is each member of the population must be assigned to one and only one stratum. Therefore, you wouldn't be able to define the strata as Kings Fans and....well...nevermind

So um, I convinced my gf to watch the Ducks game with me tonight, but after seeing my team go down 5-1 before the half way point of the game, I decided to get belligerently drunk instead. Here's to likely passing out before the puck drops...good luck though!

The ducks haven't even started playing... how can they be down 5-1?

I will be fully on board come playoff time with no other ties come then. I'll be such a committed bandwagoner that I'll force my gf to even stay in and support you guys. However, she'll likely getz the last laugh though. In the end, I'll be crying fowl cogs all I'll getz on my selanne is my palms.

Inappropriate?

Apparently they do: Lecavalier, St.Louis, Pouliot, Labrie, Barberio, Garon

don't remind me of that game. I went from regular season winner in my fantasy hockey pool to complete cold turkey and I'm about to lose in the semi-finals of the yahoo playoffs...I have Price in net. My team is highlighted by 5 of the top 15 scorers in Stamkos, P.Kane, Kunitz, Kadri and Tavares, as well as Vanek, Brown, Oshie, Landeskog, Parise, Clarkson, Seabrook, Del Zotto, Girardi, Orpik, Quick, Price, Fasth and Bishop.

I'm still trying to figure out how I lost.

If it makes you feel any better, I picked the Lightning as my eastern conference team for next season.

I'm going to try to watch all of their games next year. I like having an EC team to watch.

Woo! Please do, hopefully we'll give you a reason to keep watching us. We have some amazing young guys, but we have trouble putting it all together and are in full transition this year. Having a high pick in this year's draft can only help us.

Apparently, the hockeynews thinks we're only going to get much, much worse this season (I guess 14th is not bad enough )

Also, you'll only help to raise awareness that we exist. A Pens fan came to our board to tell us that we were a Mickey Mouse franchise that had no real fans and survived on the basis of fans from other teams that had migrated south. He then proclaimed that if there are any real Tampa fans they probably didn't exist before 2004 and that we all know nothing about hockey.

Then, I asked him why they were called the Penguins. He said because it was named after the old arena, "the igloo". So then, I asked him if he knew that Penguins didn't actually live in igloos unless he based his knowledge of penguins on Pingu the cartoon character. He then swore and cussed numerous things at all the Tampa posters before disappearing.

Not sure what I was getting at there, but when you're on your 8th beer in two hours, it's hard to make much sense.

Well I'm used to northern fans doubting my credibility, so that won't be anything new. But they can kiss our Cup rings

Go Ducks! (and Bolts!)

I'm pretty drunk, but I just checked the score and it looks like it says 5-5 ...can anyone confirm this for me since I'm not sure if I'm seeing straight in my drunken stupor. Unsustainable vision.

If it's anything like the last two Ducks games, it's perfectly understandable.
