Mclaren lands the best punch of the fight, i only give it a draw because prust fought out of his weight class here and did good. Mclaren prob won, but i respect prust so much for doing what he did.

Prust went for takedowns and threw all his punches when Maclaren was on the ground.

Smart fight for him. Draw.

But, If they meet again, Maclaren will be ready to dismantle him.

It was a draw, respect to Prust for taking on a big guy like Frazer.

I think some angry Hab fans bombarded the HockeyFights page though

Despite this fight very clearly being a draw, Prust is considered the winner because of all the Hab fan votes

Leaf fan here. I completely respect Prust, he fought a smart fight, taking on a guy well out of his weight class. Guts = draw.

McLaren.

Prust did well, better than expected, but still on the losing end.

so Mclaren have a smile during 2 seconde at the beginning of the fight. Who cares. Thats don't mean he played with him. Mclaren got humiliated by a way smaller opponent. He should have beat Prust easy and only got a draw. Deal with it.

rofl.... humiliated. He was laughing because Prust is so much smaller. Prust did well to keep him off balance but lets not kid ourselves. If you think that was humiliation you should probably hope to avoid the leafs in the playoffs (from a fighting stand point).

How cheap and classless is Prust, 95% of his punches were thrown when McLaren slipped and fell to the ice.

Very tough and smart fighter.
On 2 of my most hated teams, I can give props to both him and Neil for being Solid players and even better scrappers.

McLaren isnt going out and toying with a guy who usually leads the league in fights or close to it and does well in those fights. Gorges, yeah he did. Prust, not even close. If he was just toying with him you wuold think he could've at least managed to win the fight wouldnt you?

yes, he was humilited. When you fight againt a guy who is 4inch smaller and you have a advantage of 40lbs, you should win. I'm sure Mclaren would like to have revenge.....

Yeah I do think that... the Leafs fight everything and anything. Prust isn't scaring anybody.

That's not being humiliated. Humiliated is what Drzynski was. McLaren didn't even lose the fight...

I'm hoping to see the series because it'll be a rough one... I don't see how anybody thinks they'll be able to do a thing against the leafs toughness though.

Brandon Prust has quite the reputation though, it's like saying Hal Gill got humiliated when he fought Rick Rypien (RIP), well of course he go humiliated, it was Rick ****ing Rypien. (it was humiliating to see Gill fight though... ). Maxim Lapierre losing a fight against PJ Axelsson, now THAT was humiliating, people have to make the difference. Brandon Prust is like Chris Neil, both 'undersized heavyweight', kinda...

Rypien vs Gill wasn't a humiliation.It was a disgrace......lol

And I like Prust but Neil is on another level. Mclaren should have win again Prust even if he's not what leafs fan think he is. (A top heavyweight)

Humiliation is when orr 1 punched Rene Bourqe, this is just two tough guys going at it and its a draw. Yes Mclaren probably should have won this and he didnt (it was a draw), but to call this humiliation because he didnt win means that you must think pretty low of prusts fighting ability. Yes mclaren is bigger but prust is a tough SOB and is one of the few guys who can fight out of his weightclass. Again good on prust, hes a sick fighter and the only hab i respect.

Well you and mabye a few other angry habs fans are the only people on this planet to think that mclaren got humiliated. 1 punch knockouts are humiliating, not two tough guys squaring off and having a spirited go.
