Last night when I moaned as the Leafs lost in the shoot out, my wife turned to me and said: "What do you expect? It's the Leafs." I explained to her that no, this year was different. We are actually doing well and there is a very good chance that we will be in the playoffs. It got me thinking and I realized that the last time the Leafs were in the post season, I hadn't even met my wife who I've been with for seven years. My now eleven year old dog had only just grown into his paws and my four year old daughter wasn't even in my wildest dreams. Of course this got me thinking about all that has happened since we last played in the playoffs.
i haven't watched a leafs game at that time...and i am 32 ) my passion for nhl started after the 2008 draft and since that time i have watched at least 75% of leafs games although we are 7 hours ahead here in Romania..my owner always asks me why am i sleepy at work all the time i tell him the truth but always say to him that this goes from october since april now there's a chance we can play until end of may, maybe june..
Was a 4th grade student living in Windsor after moving from Toronto now I'm a freshmen in college transferring to the University of Missouri this fall with the hopes to get a business admin degree and minor in sports management and apply for an internship with the St Louis Blues in the winter. We are getting old. Can you believe that Crosby was also drafted 8 years ago? Wow. Time flies.
