They can't find someone better looking than Natalie? I mean, that's the only qualification right?

Anyways, trading Nash is the best thing this team has ever done. Accountability. Everyone contributes.

If this were an NFL game back in the late 70s, this would be an Alcoa Fantastic Finish.

Tuned in to watch the OT session, and glad I wasn't disappointed. What a great finish ... did anyone else see the cache of Blue Jackets fans right behind the net at the end? Amazing to see in Colorado!

Love this team. Go Jackets!

Agreed, I think even the hardcore Nash nuthuggers around here have to grudgingly admit it.

I don't know if I've ever seen a game like this, where the refs completely swallowed their whistles. I'll take it.

All hail Bob!

Great goals by RJ and Foligno.

On the dark side, another disappointing performance by Gaborik. Took a double minor, a few turnovers, not much of offensive production, also I couldn't believe he lost a foot race to Langeskog in OT.. I seriously hope he improves as the time goes by, but so far, he's not the superstar the Jackets wanted.

Yep, overtime wins are just as good as regulation wins.

Yeah, I suggested it in 2009 and got tossed under the bus by everyone except god himself, now everyone thinks it was the best thing since sliced bread....

Horrible giveaway on that 4-on-3, then looked like he just gave up. Not cool at all.

Wow, take the 2 points, run to the plane and don't look back. Jackets of the past never would have gotten 2 points out of a night like that.

Gaborik giving up on that Minn breakaway on the OT powerplay really pissed me off.

Oh well, onward and upward.

I've never seen anyone go down with the ship quite like this.

No longer directed at you.

Great game tonight even if the Jackets didn't play as well as they can. Lot's of mental mistakes, but we won through pure force of will. That is what I meant by "Not a crappy game". The Avs are amazingly hungry for a team completely out of it. RJ with the goal at an important point, hope to see more of it.

For the past few weeks...

I tune in to watch the Blue Jackets and keep asking the same question:

All that said.... in summary, the Jackets other than Bobs (.906 SV% ) did not play that well...

We won because of some unlikely goals by unlikely folks vs a team out of the playoffs... but in the end we did win and I can hardly believe it.... (that's a good thing)

Unreal... better have your team better prepared next time coaching staff...

He didn't give it up, to be fair. He passed it to Wiz, I think, Wiz shot and missed, it ramped around the boards and Gabby really looked sluggish getting back.

To be honest, that's is the bad that goes with the good. Richards will have to adjust based on game situation, but if we had watched Marian over his career we would know that he does things like that from time to time.

Personally I thought he was gassed.

I seem to recall us always having problems in Colorado for some reason.

No, a few bad mistakes. He fell down once and Tyutin had to make a heroic play to save his bacon, and then later he coughed the puck up which led to a 2 on 1, and JJ blocked the pass. Wiz also couldn't deploy the cannon, although that was mostly because our passing was off. People kept putting it in his skates.

Don't call us the BJ's. I hope we can win you over from the Penguins, because we don't tolerate division rivals on this board.

Comeau's a former 24 goal scorer, hopefully he can get some confidence going and get some more goals. RJ and Foligno really needed this confidence boost too. I loved seeing those two embrace on the ice at the end boards.

What you see is what you get. He is a dinged-up assassin, not a superstar. He might get healthier over the summer, let's hope, but this is probably what we get. I still think he is a big add in the scoring department.

Sports writers are so hack. Why waste time with questions like, "how does the win feel?"

That's how I saw it. He was really buzzing around the rink in the 1st period. Must have shot his wad.
