pretty much. would be extra nice if this turned out to be a three point game to screw the jets over.

Dion will get 25+ tonight against Ovie and odd shifts.

Always love that matchup

@mirtle: After last night, Jake Gardiner is first in the NHL in Corsi Relative. Holzer a bit further down (664th) http://*******/14sIjOH

Where are the detractors now?

The Leafs will clinch a playoff spot if they win tonight and Winnipeg loses in regulation. I wonder what their owner thinks about that?

Don't read too much into advanced stats, but Gardiner's sample size is obviously smaller.

That's not to take away from him though, because his Corsi is so high due to his skating. Just always possesses the puck.

Can't believe it but a win tonight and we're 2 points back of MTL! Can you imagine if we end up getting home ice advantage after all this or even the division title!

Let O'Byrne redeem himself. I'm sure he knows he had a bad game....He does bring a lot more to the table then Kostka.

I'd rather have fresh bodies in a back to back.

I actually really love our defensive depth, Kostka and liles/gardiner in and out gives us a lot to work with, not to mention holzer, holzer/kostka arent anything special, but they're solid depth that can get the job done if injuries arise.

Actually just confirms what my eyes tell me. Jake has been great, and wasn't as bad a some argued earlier. Just glad he's finally get a decent shot and running with it.

When I said 'don't read into...' I meant I didn't read too much into em.

But you're absolutely right. He just needed to adjust.

I agree, but he's also first and nobody would argue with the Holzer ranking

I would be fine with a hat trick by Ovi as long as we win in OT.
