I'm probably the only guy who thinks the Sens should re-sign Regin.
he'll come cheap
versatile - wing or center
excellent skater with decent size
I just think that with the time invested in him while he was injured it would be foolish to walk away from him now that he's healthy. I say give him a one-year deal and let him work with a full training camp before just ditching him.
I think there's a reason he hasn't been on waivers.. another team would take him and the Sens don't want that.
I have nothing against Regin so I'm not going to insult him here. I hope he makes a soft landing somewhere, maybe with the Islanders or a similar team that likes to pick up players who don't cost a fortune, and that he gives a good account of himself. If his confidence and luck came back he could be a useful player in this league.
