3rd in 4 nights vs a well rested super hot caps team and we are on the road. I didn't even bother watching this one past the first 10min. The outcome was obvious.

Gunner comes back, Gardiner gets moved off of the top pairing. Now top pairing is better and Gardiner will be able to play easier minutes and let his puck moving skills shine, which we have been really lacking these last couple games.

Oh well, they got a chance to clinch at home now. Or on Ottawa's ice on Saturday, hehe.

That was only a small part of my post, but I like to point out a very direct point that is utterly true. just incase someone missed the obvious.

Do we automatically clinch on Thursday if we win or what?

Due for a stinker, didn't get really out of hand. Regroup and get ready for the stretch.

Not too good in terms of other games.

Ottawa, Winnipeg, Long Island all winning. And NY just scored to make it 3-2 against Philly.

Would have loved if Reimer was in versus Holtby tonight. Love these two young goalies.

Can't believe Ovechkin was once at 10 goals this season while Stamkos had 20.

Can't believe the Caps started the season at 2-8-1.

You have been claiming that he 'gets lucky sometimes, isn't good though'.

You do not get to the NHL as a goaltender by simply getting lucky.

Scrivens had a bad game- so did the whole team- does that mean the whole team is terrible?

Leafs fans have no idea how to handle a loss.

Saw that loss coming a mile away. This is a big wake up call at the right time. Getting outshot brutally these last few games and pulling out a win wasn't going to last forever. Take the bad and wipe the slate clean.

If the Leafs don't show up their next game, then is the time to be a little worried.

Draw a line through tonight's performance, not much to like.

I'm not a fan of Grabovski either but I don't understand what you hope to accomplish by ripping him every time you write anything.

Meh. Life goes on I suppose. I do enjoy your opinion on prospects and what not.

Not faulting Scrivens on the loss but I hope we never see him again for the rest of the season.

I hope the last 2 games wakes this team up. Why does it always happen that after playing habs we have a few close games and then start stinking for a few. Cannot afford to stink up. Islanders are on the move up and sens and jets might win also
