Enough of Wreck it Ralph.
What message does that send to Schultz, who said he was an important factor of his decision here. Or any of the kids? We're making him look like a complete idiot!

Oh yeah, on top of being an idiot, Lowe is also a liar. There are at least two people working in hockey (Scotty Bowman and Jacques Lemaire) that have more Cups than him.

The team has obviously tuned him out. I don't think any of the kids will complain about a coaching change.

Well to be fair they usually are a playoff team and Schultz knew the situation when he signed. I just feel that Kreuger straight up sold him on this vision of greatness and he has to wonder if it was just complete ********.

Damn, Tencer and Brown are really circling the wagons in defence of Lowe right now. MacT too. Worth listening to.

Man I'm really questioning if Krueger is the right man for the team. Yes you don't air your dirty laundry in public, I fully agree with that, but It's just, some of the things he says makes you question if he believes them or not. I'm not sure he's the right man for the team.

It's not also that the team hasn't 'gelled' to his system or anything, it's been half a season and considering the Capitals have recovered well enough, I'm not sure that's a valid excuse.

Chances are he gets next year to rebound, but I'm not sure.

Nah, MacT should just stand behind the bench and observe. He was a coach. He should know if the team is tuning into him. He can also gauge some real issues, something I think Tambo was completely oblivious to in his skybox.

We made one rash decision hiring MacT. Let's not make another one with Krueger before MacT fully understands the situation.

my opinion only, we need to stop changing coaches every year or two and start moving out players, starting at the draft.

The Oilers are in the same category as the Pittsburgh Pirates and Buffalo Bills. This franchise is one of the biggest joke in professional sports.

I'm willing to bet we'll be named ESPN's worst franchise in pro sports in their upcoming edition.

Make a big move by trading Jordan Eberle.

Fixed that for you.
The fellating of Smyth and Potter from Krueger is unexplainable really. It's like he's trying to get fired just to get away from the Lowe gongshow.

Good argument Brown.

We have to wait to see what damage Mact does to assess his ability as GM, because that was only fair when the decision was made with Tambo, the other GM hired without any due diligence because he was buddies with Lowe.

Sounds like fun, sure worked the first time.

I watch a lot a news stories. Listening to Dan gives me some insight for what it's like for people in places like North Korea where they nothing to listen to other than what the dictatorship government tells them.

A year ago people wanted him captain and saying he was going to be the best of the big three. Now you want to trade him.

He's obviously not as bad as he's shown this year. He's not going anywhere, nor should he.

MacTavish has so much bloody work to do. Kind of strange and damning that we're looking at a brand new low right now 4 years after supposedly bottoming out.

"Kevin Lowe's reputation is on the line with this (MacT hiring)." - Rob Brown

His reputation wasn't on the line the last 13 years? What the ****?

They just mean that Lowe has run out of friends to hire, and he'd have to give up his cushy president position and take over the main GM role again.
