Burns for Hart?

Does it/could it work that way?

He's literally the key to making this team work. Record with/without him speaks for itself + his presence completely changes the dynamic of the lines. I would bet the only player whose presence on the Sharks makes as much of an impact/difference is Jumbo (and maybe Niemi.)

Just a thought.

Not enough games, and points. There is no way the hart is going to a 70 (pace) point player. Even if said player is point per game.

Yeah, you don't really earn consideration for not playing and the team losing. Even when he was out, the Sharks were earning points in almost every game anyway.

I don't deny he has a big effect on the entire forward lineup though. Just not enough for that trophy.

I will add though, the only way burns has a chance st the hart, is if he puts up 80 points with 30 goals. And then the voters have a brain fart and vote him as if he was a defenseman.

Its not for Hart definitively, but points...well, we had them but in what way? Hertl and Thornton were half of themselves without Burns - no matter who they played with.
