I need one of those Most Interesting Man on Earth memes that says "We don't always go 0-16, but when we do, we go undefeated in the preseason."

I'd be very happy if the Tigers can avoid running into the A's in the postseason...what a trainwreck of a series this has been.

Leyland apparently lacks the ability to keep him (or Kelly) out of the lineup no matter how badly he is injured, so DD is going to have to take the decision away from him and give him a couple weeks off.

Wonder if we'll see some Castellanos at 3B. Probably not, after all their efforts to convert him to LF. But it'd be interesting.

I'd love to see Miggy get the second triple crown, but I'd rather see the team win a WS and if Miggy is in this condition in October, it's not gonna happen. Teams will just bunt at him 30 times a game. I would.

Exactly. Miggy is Injured. Treat him like he is injured and not like he is hurt.

Doesn't look like they're going to play him except as a pinch hitter in late innings for deadbeats like Kelly and Santiago.

Which is a shame - you're burning service time for the guy and your Sunday lineups are essentially big white flags with 5 or 6 regulars missing every week, so you might as well throw him out there a couple times and see what happens.

Hello my friend. Who's gonna win the Wolverines/Irish game?

Erm, I'm a Spartan, so I kinda hope it ends in a 0-0 tie after everyone on both rosters succumbs to the measles and has to miss the entire season...

I guess if I had to root for someone in that game I'd still have to root against the Wolverines. Hate em.

Sparty is going to have a rough season ... we need to find an offense. QB, RB, WR, they're all garbage.

This guy annoys me from hundreds of miles away as his awful singing is loudly audible on TV broadcasts as well. Good riddance. Just because you have a gimmick doesn't make you the next Knitting Lady or Orange Hat Guy. People have to actually like you for that to happen.

Yeah this offense is horrific, shame because this defense is one of the best I have seen in all of college football. If they had even a slightly above average offense I think they would take their division, as is I think Northwestern and not U of M gets that done.

MSU Defense 4 touchdowns on the season MSU offense 1.

Other than the bonehead play in the end zone, I was satisfied with that game. The defense is still very green but they'll get better when Ryan returns.

Cant remember a game against the Lions where AP looked like such a non factor. One big play on their first possession and thats all he did all day. Liking the look of this lions d line. Ansah looked great for being out so long and Willie Young made some plays

Different strokes for different folks I guess, but I couldn't disagree more. Charley was a mini-institution at Tigers games. Whenever I saw people complaining about him, they were usually grumpy, rich a-holes. But they were always the minority, he always had more support than he did detractors. Alas, nothing lasts forever. Farewell, Charley.

If this isn't the "same old Lions", they'll dump truck the Cardinals next week.

How soon until Joe Fauria puts either Scheffler or Pettigrew on the unemployed line?

UM looking very good. Gardner is the real deal, and the defense gets even better when Ryan returns. Fun to see the Fig Things topple. Go Blue!
