I recieved word from a ticket rep that the islanders would be releasing tickets that they were holding for potential season ticket holders for tomorrow's game. I checked ticketmaster at exactly 1:30 and they were released at that moment, so i was able to get 3. I checked on my roomates computer 30 seconds later and they were sold out already. unreal. So much better to buy them for retail price opposed for paying those stubhub thieves

I really just hope, in the likely case of a loss, the crowd does not throw **** on the ice, and they remember to applaud the team. I was at 3 and 4, but I think I am going to sit this one out.

There will definitely be stuff thrown on the ice. Hell, the ice was covered with beer bottles after we WON on Tuesday.

I have two extras in sec 111 row B.

Huge isles fan here. Long time poster on yahoo isles msg board and new to this one. I live in atlanta, but just flew in for the game (after hitting montreal yesterday). I have four tickets in sec 111 row B that cost $725 total. I only need two of them as two friends bailed on me for the trip. Is anyone interested in the other two or possibly all four and then i can find two others. Not looking to make money, just dont want to lose my shirt either.

I think there was stuff thrown on the ice in spite of the officiating. Still no excuse, but I'm assuming that's the reason.

Like you said it's no excuse. It really bothered me to see people do that, no matter what the officials were doing, but what I really didn't understand was after Game 3. I was still in my seats as long as I could stay before the ushers kicked me out, and there were 2 rink workers clearing the bottles off, and some clowns decided to throw beer bottles at them. All the players and refs were gone, and it was just two people trying to clean the ice. I couldn't fathom why they were throwing stuff on the ice still. I guess the playoffs are bringing out some new fans, but it really makes me angry seeing people throw stuff on the ice. The Islanders could get a 2 min penalty for that crap.

The Isles have been so bad for so long it's caused us die hards to go crazy. Do you guys remember the Coliseum after we got shafted by the refs against Buffalo? 2 straight games the coliseum was littered with bottles. Lets just say Isles fans aren't the classiest bunch unfortunately. And not for nothing, but to boo a player who takes a puck to the throat is also classes, people should be ashamed.

All about makin it a hostile environment, but lets be rel here people!

I don't think it was "us die hards" doing the garbage throwing. I think it was the exact opposite of us doing that.

I really thought tickets would drop on stubhub, but their going up. Wanted to get 3-4 tickets for around $70-$80 total. My friends are too cheap to pay anything more than that.

How did you think you would manage that on stubhub? Hell, just the ticket fees for 4 tickets would be $50-$60.

$80 per ticket. I mislead you when I said total, I meant to say total like no fees or anything. Pretty much $320 total for 4 tickets. I got 2 tickets for $80 per + fees = $90 per ticket for the first home game.

The day before the game there were $48 per ticket on stubhub, I thought it would happen for game 4 and game 6, but so far it doesn't look like that's happening.

I didn't pay anywhere near those kind of fees. Less than $10 in fees per ticket. I ended up with 4 tickets to Game 3 from Stubhub for $220.
What you need to do is make sure you get tickets that you can electronically download which is free.

2nd round tickets refund

For all those who also bought 2nd round tickets (just in case), does anyone know the timeline in which ticketmaster will refund your money? will they send a notification that the event has been "cancelled" or anything like that? just curious
