Which means he could even be back late next week if the symptoms subside.

I'm not expecting it, but I'd welcome him just missing this round if we can make it to round 2.

Round 1 is definitely out of the question, but if concussion symptoms leave early, a round 2 comeback isn't out of the question considering there is no facial damage.

I have fightsport experience and would say there is a distinction, it is not always the case that losing consciousness = concussion. Another thing is we don't know for certain if Lars lost consciousness.

Knockout vs Concussion

As I posted elsewhere hope it is a busted nose which is not a terribly big thing but would explain the fast blood, and hope Lars is back with a cage for Was!

this is wrong. You can lose consciousness for many reason such as lack of oxygen. loss of consciousness does not necessarily mean concussion.

he could be fine and back tonight. though i suspect it will be sunday at the earliest.

Obviously no cuncoussion would be a prayer answered, but that doesn't mean he can just strap on the gear and play. Look at Crosby, it's been a coupel of weeks since that puck tot he mouth and he still hasn't played.

I'm just hoping he's back to where he was in time for training camp. Having Pacioretty as a teammate will be beneficial to him the same way having Cole as a teammate was beneficial to Pacioretty.

Crosby suffered a broken jaw, which is what has kept him out. Eller has no major facial damage.

Why are you guys debating if he has a concussion or not? The Habs PR guy said it himself last night. Concussion with loss of consciousness.

We are getting our hopes up only to have them come crashing back down.

This would be a perfect opportunity for Lars to defeat the stereotypes about Danish players being soft.

We hope he'll visit the Pacioretty Clinic, where injury recovery time is minimal.

? The only NHL Danes who I'd consider soft are Larsen and Boedker. Maybe Regin if he counts.

Says : Scanning results show that there are no bleeding from his brain, no jaw damage.

That there are some small injuries to his cheek(?)bone, some teeth and a broken nose. And that he was pretty lucky.
