Left wing, size and energy are positions of strength for the Oilers? Do tell. You should probably watch the Oilers before comparing Hall to Eberle and Yak.

My point has always been that you guys have 3 top scoring wingers, smallish in size. Trading one would benefit your team.

Why do I not want to consider Karlsson, Lehner and Spezza? The same reason we do not ask for Schultz, RNH and Dubynk. Trading them would leave a hole that would have to be replaced.

Eh.. I think Ottawa could offer a package suitable for Hall. Just dont think its going to happen, as much as I'd like to see Hall in a Sens uniform.

Ottawa doesn't absolutely need Hall so there's no point in bothering because the Oilers will, and rightly so, ask for Karlsson

They would need to add to Hall (not much but Karlsson is more valuable) so let's not go there

Hall is 'bigger' than Silfverberg\Turris and should round out to 200lbs 6'1" once he fills out.. He'll be fine in NHL.. Hall is more important to EDM than Schultz, Dubnyk and arguably RNH.

No way he gets traded at this stage of his career.

Ceci who is comparable to Klefbom
Weircoich who is comparable to Schultz, maybe slightly worse(but not much)

And neither of them are top 10 players for the future

You cant seriously compare ceci with Klefbom, who is on pair with Brodin who already has made impact in the nhl.

Weir(d)coich<<< Schultz

People also forget to mention Lander and hartikainen, probably solid 3th liners and not to forget Marincin, the future is bright, we only need to switch some role players and add A puckmoving D who can lead our defence out there.

Trading with oilers starts with Gagner who is the odd man out when we are to small and need to add some size and strenght to our 2 line, our first line outplays their opponents on speed, talent and hockey Iq.

Gagner+ our first +2 second round picks(anaheims) is a good start to chase our needs, i cant see new signed canadian trademark Eberle gone.

Yakupov is the only one from the 4 who has a realistic chance to be traded, and then for something like Oel , we need to add a bit of course. If we dont get back something like him in return, then he surely stays.

Dont forget the Ufa market!

If it's Karlsson, maybe. Karlsson isn't going to be offered though, so Hall isn't available. End of story

Even with Karlsson or Hall you have no depth, you clearly dont get it! Getting a top 4 dman with top pair upside, a great young goalie, a great forward that should be at least half as good as Hall, would do wonders.

As much as I like Hall, Im hesitant to give that up. You can talk about how you are a better team with Hall, but in reality you haven't had a good hockey team in a long time.

How many trade proposals involving Edmonton players have to be made before people realize Edmonton fans way over value every single player on their roster? To the point of out and out exaggeration to the nth degree.

Just stop... Hall is not getting moved for a bunch of secondary guys. He's the best player on our team and our future captain

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get him. He's a great young dman. They're just not on the same level

Can we really move our over PPG star for scraps?! That would just be wonderful!

Probably as many proposals as it takes to realize the players we overvalue aren't ****ing available.

Schultz >= Wiercioch

Schultz > Wiercioch at BEST

Wiercioch is bigger and better defensively, and has the same amount of points. They are the same age.

They don't, but it's only close because Schultz got overplayed in the AHL... Where he had well over DOUBLE the points, and he was also just named the AHL's top dman this year. There's absolutely no doubt that Schultz is the better dman. Don't get all hung up on how many >'s OP put...

Schultz is slightly better than Weircoich currently. Except Weircoich is much bigger than Schultz.

Also explain how Klefbom is soooo much better than Ceci...

Karlsson >> either one of Hall/Eberle/RNH/Yakupov

If Karlsson is the main piece then I can see it being something like this

Hall
RNH/Eberle/Yakupov
Mid-level D prospect

Karlsson
1st 2013

I dont care about getting Hall that much. You need to read what other people post. Your team has no depth, and that will continue. Sens will have depth, and be a continual playoff threat. Oh the agony of not getting Taylor Hall...
