Pre- and post-game material choked me up. Unreal.

Good game.

G: 13-9-5 since Ruff was fired. Make that retroactive and the Sabres would be at 51 points right now.

Good stuff all the way around. Enjoyed the game, and even found myself rooting for a win when we were behind.

That three-point swing in the game at MSG really looms large now. We should've won that one in regulation, but we lost our mind briefly and then lost the SO.

Was this an NBC or MSG broadcast? ..I missed it and would like to see the replay of it ..if they have it on MSG

Edit: Ugh...nevermind...just saw the GDT that it was on NBC... probably wont be showing a recast of it later on MSG

G: Everything mentioned above.

B: Game is over, it's back to reality. At least there was bonus hockey.

U: Officiating. Looked like the refs are on Team Anti-Tank.

A few guys had a really tough game (i.e. Ehrhoff), Ennis not shooting in the shootout was a bit surprising, but no complaints. Gritty road win, class at the end, not much to hate.

Yes, more than a couple of wipe outs by Sabre players (not counting Pzsyk stepping on the puck). And lots of empty air swipes when the puck zigged instead of zagged on them.

Ehrhoff had a tough time with the puck and ice tonight.... almost losing it via an overskate at the blue line on the rush in the 3rd.

In the 5 or 6 posts I saw you make tonight you just bashed everyone or the team. In my book this was a good game besides some small parts. Physicality, chirps, exciting goals, unification after the game, and Miller was brick wall esque. So really it wasn't a bad game.

100% agree with this, that game was incredibly entertaining, multiple chances at both ends and a last minute goal to tie it always makes a game better.

because nearly everyone on the team deserves a bashing, besides miller.

exciting goals? maybe the sabres tying goal was exciting, everything else was pretty standard and normal.

again, classic sabres/bills move, winning meaningless games to hurt the rebuild that is really needed

If they make they playoffs, it's because they

1) Won out

and

2) Two of:
A: New York Islanders **** the bed with 5 straight on the road.
B: Ottawa chokes against a tough schedule (5 of 6 vs higher ranked opponents)
C: New York Rangers get unlucky against tank teams.

dose of reality?? you think anyone in the sabre organization from the owner to the guy who scrubs the head is thinking "yeah choke tonight guys we really need that 10th pick" yeah right..

Every person on that team is playing for a job, coach and all..idiots that want them to put in less than 100% every night, well you fit in well with Boston fans,go there..
