Sounds like it was purely accidental. Just a coincidence at this point.

60-70 people? Why isn't this on any of the major networks?

CNN had live coverage then went back to Boston..I think they are waiting to get updated and then switch back.

Oh god, my local news station is reporting 60-70 dead, 200+ injured. Unconfirmed though... Seriously hoping that isn't true.

It's straight from the EMS director so it doesn't look good. Just horrible.

The apartment building collapsed supposedly, 1st floor was completely destroyed.

Getting harder to listen to this.

You hope it's not true but with an explosion of that size...

you keep hoping that it's not true, but seeing the video of it and knowing it was a fertilizer plant, it'll be a miracle if it didn't do such damage.

Local news reporting 60-70 but CNN just talking about conflicting rumors right now, they likely want to confirm everything 100% after the Boston screw up. On CNN they have only reported that 60 are injured so it's a pretty big difference in reports.

our local news is also talking about high fatalities and injured, BUT they will not confirm it and say they've heard other figures as well. They don't even want to show the video posted in this thread without confirming it either.

They moved the triage from the football field to a baseball field a bit further away supposedly. Saw earlier they were clearing the football field after the evacuation talk

That is nuts. Hopefully very few casualties and that this was an accident.
