I picked the 9/10/11 teams from each conference - but included "other" as an option

standings as of this second

Columbus. I don't think the other ones work their ways in.

My picks were heart/emotional reasons

I picked the Jets just b/c I want them in for the Winnipeg fans who finally got a team back. I also went with Columbus b/c (even though I think they'd be a headache for the Hawks)...b/c people love disparaging them but they've played really well this year and I think they deserve it.

Dallas gets a huge boost tonight if Calgary and Anaheim can hang on to their respective leads.

Still need to win the games they have left, but it doesn't hurt to see the teams they're chasing, fail to capitalize.

Don't think anyone who isn't in already is getting in.

Columbus has the goaltender... and he's as hot as a goaltender can be... so there's my vote.

Never thought I'd say it... but wow am I glad Columbus is going east! Get Bob out of the Western Conference, and especially glad he won't be in the newly formed Central as a division rival!

Not to knock the forwards and D for their hustle and work ethic and their feeling of never being out of it etc... but the Wild outshot them in the last game 41 to 22. The Forwards and D don't win that game in a shootout without Bob absolutely playing Vezina level hockey.

Bob plays amazing enough to allow the forwards and D to do just enough to get by at this point.

I think they're all playing great

They're not a lottery team without Bob

Columbus is in a playoff spot so they don't count anymore, although I could see Dallas, Detroit or Winnipeg sneaking in too. Dallas controls their own destiny as they have ROW on Detroit and Columbus.

Columbus is currently 8th(although both Detroit and Dallas have games in hand which they win would put them in the playoffs)

Dallas final 2 home games are against Detroit and Columbus, so Detroit can control there fate as well with a win against Dallas. Columbus on the other hand can win their final 4 games and still not make it.

If Dallas wins out, Columbus is out even if they do win out...so yes they do still count... Besides, you can't change the candidates one day to the next anyway. The question was asked when they were out, most people made their predictions at that point.

I voted none.

I did consider voting for CBJ, however, they lost in regulation time to the Kings tonight, and now have only 3 games left while the Wings have 5 games left.
