This game literally put me to sleep for apart of that period.

Fell asleep at the 15 min mark and woke up at the 4 min mark.

Long Day.

Sure, no problem @bhay1987. The team is rocking it, big time. Heating up at just the right time. Conference finals for sure, for this bunch. Beyond that depends too much on luck to make meaningful predictions.

So, is everyone complaining about Barker and Ebbett again, just like EVERY other GDT?

*checks*

Keep up the good work. But here's an idea: How about complain about a player who will actually be with the team next year. Or is that heresy around these parts?

Barker is useless. ****ing useless. Can't wait to PVR him almost costing us another game.

Dallas coming into our end 2 on 2 through the center, one of them starts running up the left side, this useless **** decides to skate to center instead of covering him.

I'm not saying Kassian or Raymond have done much either, but they've got to get Ebbett out of there.

AV should be able to look at his available players and see that Weise, Ebbett, and Pinnizotto/Sestito are your fourth line. Mix the top nine however you want.

Are you even watching this game?

This isn't everybody piling on one player. This waste of human space deserves every bit of criticism.

It's missing the usual complaints about AV, Kassian, and Alberts. So.. progress?

Really eh? Cause on the national scene they're really sneaking up on people if that's the case. From what most of the opinion on the boards is that this is more of the same old Canucks. I would be so so pumped if they played the Blackhawks again. Do the Canucks look like they could legitimately take down the Hawks or the Kings if they had to face them again.

I know Garrison has really fit in well but anything deeper than that I'm not sure. Could anyone spare the time to give me a quick run down of how they're playing and what expectations are heading into the playoffs?
I'll give it my best

Sedins + Burrows- Relied heavily throughout the year cause Kesler was out, have looked good, but not dominant like during their best years
Kesler- Looks great, single handedly makes our PP a ton better, big boost to get him back
Roy- Looked great with Higgins when he got here, but hasn't clicked too well with Kesler so far. When Higgins is back I assume they will be reunited
Kassian- disappointing, has not been consistent, offensively or physically
Raymond- meh
Hansen- Cooled off a bit, but still a valuable player

Our backend is our biggest concern, Edler has looked better lately, but most of this year has looked average. Bieksa has been pretty bad this year, and Hamhuis started bad but is looking better. Garrison and Tanev are ridiculously steady, and I feel both Alberts and Ballard have looked better as of late. We probably should of gotten a depth d at the deadline.

Schneids has been awesome, and Lu has looked sharp as well when called upon.

My expectations are that we can make it past the first with this team as is, but to make it any farther we need our defensemen to step it up, and some more chemistry to develop between some of our lines.

Yep. Not suggesting it would be a walk over, but absolutely yes, Canucks are quite capable of taking either of them in a seven game series.

Maybe in the offseason we can trade Kassian for a young centre.

Encouraging that the Sedin line has been the best line so far in this game. Hopefully they finish in the 2nd period.

I would agree with this, I would feel pretty good against the Kings, they are not the same as last year, and are very beatable. Hawks would be tough, but having the goaltending advantage always helps
