Miami's first round bye is over. Bring on the Bulls or Nets.
Speaking of the Bulls, Hinrich apparently has a pretty bad calf injury and is questionable for Game 5. Bulls have a pretty bad record without him.
They'd really miss him defensively, he's been fantastic on Williams. He's also a lot better than Robinson at facilitating the offense.
Brooklyn may get the break they need to take Game 5.
As a Bulls fan, the news meets a numb response. We're used to everybody getting hurt (often at the worst times).
The team had the best record in the league in back-to-back years with Rose.
With a fully healthy roster they are very clearly on the level of San Antonio and OKC. Miami remains an evident step above all of them.
Rose a ballhog? They play better without him?
they are better without him
He is one of the worst MVP winners I have seen, really overrated
Noah is their best player
And I wouldnt want my franchise player to not show up in the playoffs, considering he has been cleared to play by the docs for a while now...
He is not a leader
And when Lebron was an FA, Rose said "no thank you"
And a few months later, Lebron annihilated Rose in the playoffs and Miami destroyed Chicago
I thought that second technical on Howard was ridiculous. I have no idea what he said but refs have let players get away with much more than that. But that was a fitting end to Howard's season (career?) with the Lakers.
Never been a big Gasol fan but for his sake, I hope either D'Antoni is fired or he gets traded. A lot of people wrote him off but he can still play at a high level.
Said it before and I'll say it again, I feel bad for Pau. He doesn't deserve a lot of the crap he gets. And yeah, if the Lakers go into next season healthy or not and it looks this bad, D'Antoni will continue to sit on the hot seat.
And hooray, on to round 2 along with TMac. Hopefully Diaw & Tiago get healthy and the others get some rest.
