That's gotta be pretty common though, right...? How have some of you guys pulled it off? Lots of whiskey?
Uhh, none of my business or anything, but if you're scared of committing to her you might not be ready to propose.

Congrats on the job. I worked at Superstore when I was younger. All things considered, I liked the job. No shortage of pretty girls to look at / chat with.

I thought of that angle, but I know she's the right one for me. I just think it's commitment in general that terrifies me.

If you aren't ready, you won't be ready later. Communication is key. Just tell her how you feel. Lots of people are together for a really long time and don't get married.

I don't know if I totally agree with that. I wouldn't know firsthand or anything, but I imagine it would be pretty nerve-wracking taking that next step.

As long as you (Brandonlee) are worried about the commitment in general and not just the commitment to her specifically, I don't think it's that unnatural.

edit: I type slow.

Thanks for the input, guys.

I'm going to do it, I'm excited about it. Still, the thought terrifies me.

I think I'll ask when we go for our trip to Tofino next month. Seems like a pretty good choice.

Do it at a place you can take her out on a date for a milestone anniversary.

Thanks!

It's in the West End, so you'll have to drive out there!

My manager mentioned in my interview that Daniel and Bieksa shop there often.

Thats when you know that they're actually trying to sell you the job and not so much you applying for the job.

You should have come up with somer crazy salary demands that point.

Well, I was the one to mention the giant Canucks flag hanging in the background after my interview! I'm pretty pumped for this anyway; I'll take any job that'll hire me.

I don't know too much about it...
But I agree with Intoewsables.

It is normal to be scared of the next step.
My friend actually froze before heading to the altar...
And she is one of the most confident person I know.
She did go through with it...
But we all wondered about the delay.

Everybody is a little different...
But I think that you will know deep inside.
In this instance...
You might have to trust your instincts.

It might not be the best advice...
Regardless...
Good luck to you.

Saw Oblivion today...
First thing I said after I was done:
"It was so stupid."

The setup took over an hour...
But it felt like 2...
The pace was faster afterwards...
But it still had very little action.
I can't believe this was considered to be a blockbuster.

Unfortunately...
It also had very little depth.
There were many questions left unanswered...
And the conclusions the film took made no sense to me.
This film felt like it was directed by a poor man's Ang Lee...

Anyone saw The Big Wedding?
Great cast...
Terrible reviews...

Personally...
Although the plot is a bit forced...
I thought it was ok...
And there were quite a bit of laughs...
From both me...
And the audience.

So apparently my computer's keyboard likes to screw with me. It hates google searches, correcting sentences, long walks on the beach, and anything pleasant in life. Most of the time it's cool but right now it is PMS'ing. Keyboard better step down. Man made you, we can destroy you. *****. Also if you could stop effecting which way I want to move my mouse that would be nice too.
