Lemieux would want Boston to forfeit and then threaten to leave the NHL if they didn't.

Not sure our friends in Montreal would like that very much.

Move the team out of Boston. The NHL can't allow any more delay.

I would be shocked if the game is played at this point. Then it would have to be either an empty arena or moved into a different arena, which I would guess would mean empty arena anyway. The latter seem like a long shot anyway.

Bruins will play 1 game in 7 days IF they play Sunday. They won't be tired they will be rusty.

It's going to be interesting to see how/when they reschedule this one.

someone mentioned the perfect idea before, reschedule BOS/PIT for tomorrow night. then reschedule the Saturday PIT/BUF game for Sunday the 28th. then playoffs can still start on time.

If this game isn't cancelled, I don't think they can allow fans in. Should be cancelled. Sucks we've already postponed 2, nothing we can do about it.

They could do something unprecedented and move it to either Providence or Manchester. Anyone know if those building are available tonight?

It's Friday, so the P-Bruins are playing.

can they just play the game in an empty arena? Obviously not ideal, but dont have to worry about 20k civilians moving about.

I think they should. Wouldn't have to pay for the security or all of that and it would give the fans something do watch other than the news. But I doubt it

So outside of the public transpo thing, is there another valid reason to not have the game? There is no way in hell this kid now probably out of assistance and explosives, could target the Garden crowd. 500 cops around there, no way he does something. It's probably one of the safest places to be tonight.

Now the public transpo issue is a totally valid reason by itself. But teams have had pro sports events during transit strikes...

All ticket holders are required to mail in the 25$ per ticket they each would have spent on concessions.

-Jacobs counter demand to empty building game plan.

Moving the Pitt Buffalo game up to sunday or tuesday and playing Pitt Tmm is the only senario that works out well.

The fact that its still not been cancelled coming so close to game time, tells me that the game might be happening. Because of the game was cancelled, they would be saying it by now and not and our before gametime. They have to get the word out to the fans atleast a couple of hours before game time.

Seems reasonable. Depends on how greedy the NHL is because they would lose revenue

They have until 4pm to cancel it, Monday's game wasn't cancelled until 4:30. What's nuts for me is I had tickets to Monday's game and tonight's.
