Sucks so bad they want to keep him out of the Rockford playoff push.

Emery "absent" from optional practice -- no idea what that means

Maybe a minor hip issue? Don't know the maintenance required for an artificial hip, especially an artificial hip if you play NHL hockey.

Probably called him up instead of Karlsson because they are relying on Karlsson to play the rest of the way...just a thought though.

Emery doesn't have an artificial hip; he has a bone graft. They took a piece of his fibula and grafted it into the head of his femur, because the femur wasn't getting enough blood supply and was dying. It would have been a hip replacement if the surgery had not been successful, and he wouldn't be playing hockey with an artificial hip.

Anyway, he's probably just ill.

Edit: Emery day to day, lower body. Crawford starting tomorrow.

Emery has a lower-body injury and will not be backing up Crawford vs. Nashville on Friday night. Day to day. #NHL #Blackhawks

Karlsson's 10 and 5 with Rockford and him and Hutton have similar numbers. The Hogs just need to play the way they have over the past few weeks, and hopefully they can win their final two games.

And if they do, hopefully Milwaukee loses one of their final 3.

What? LOL. I'm surprised people on facebook even know who he is. They probably just like him because of the fight.

Yep. Milwaukee and Chicago play 2 of their final 4 games against each other (already played 1 of those games the other day, now have 3 games remaining each). If Rockford wins their final two games, and Chicago beats Milwaukee in their 2nd last game of the season, Rockford will be in the playoffs.

Having a couple good games is not tearing it up. It's just some icehogs fan that overrates hogs players, like Martini did.

We gotta beat San Antonio and Texas for the Hogs to make playoffs, and Milwaukee has to lose at least 1 of their last 3

Hutton isn't very consistent but when he's on top of his game he can be very dominant.

This is not rocket science, Reason for Hutton getting the call is because Karlsson was going to start either way. For those saying that Hutton was the better goalie lately, well that is just false...

Hogs last 5 games:

Win 5-4: Karlsson 4 GA 23 saves
Win 4-1: Hutton 1 GA 20 saves
Lose 0-4: Karlsson 3 GA 16 saves
Win 7-3: Hutton 3 GA 34 saves
Win 3-1: Hutton 1 GA 20 saves

All I said was lately Hutton has been better, which is not false.
