Bruins lose 4th straight to Penguins

Team isn't good enough. No excuses, no bull****, not good enough.

They prove me wrong, great, but I'm not holding my breath.

At this point in time I dont like their chances against anyone in the playoffs.

Montreal will win the division.

Toronto/Ottawa may very well pass the bruins.

we will likely play one of ottawa, washington, and toronto. At this point in the season I see Ottawa and Washington being too good for us.

There is no way we should have lost both of these games.

I feel like this team doesn't care about this city or its fans.

My definition of a fair weather fan isn't someone that is criticising the team when the team is playing bad

Positives: Bartkowski is a player. He's making one of Ference or Boychuk expendable next year.

Yeti- can see he has physical skills. Needs to realize there is hitting in this league though.

Team still can't play a full sixty.

They also can't score.

I hate the Pens and they know how to beat Claude's system.

Got to tell you, I like that Deryk Engelland, he'd make a helluva #5 or #6 for us.

Please let's keep the play of the team separate from the events of the past week.

Winning or losing a sports game doesn't reflect how the players feel about the city.

Hated Bartkowski from the start, but he has improved immensely. He no longer looks like a scared child on the ice.

Agreed, but there is a fine line between criticism and mindless drivel

What's going on with our PK? Lack of effort? Too passive?

I don't know for sure what is wrong with the Bruins but it's clear something isn't right and it needs fixing if this team is going to do anything in the playoffs. But I do find it hilarious that if you are not positive or cheerful about the Bruins chances this year your fandom and overall hockey knowledge is put into question on these boards. Hilarious indeed.

Pittsburgh fielded their Pensacola spring training split squad lineup and the Bruins cannot hang

I wanna say that there have been a couple years relatively recently when the B's owned Montreal in the regular season and lost to them in the playoffs and when Montreal owned them in the regular season but we won in the playoffs..... so I guess "anything can happen"....

but personally I don't see anyway Toronto would beat us in the playoffs. The B's own that team heart and soul.

He played alright for his first game. One game is tough to judge the guy on though.

worried about our penalty kill. not sure what's changed. the bruins have been pretty crappy all season, i'm surprised they've stayed high up in the standings. we can't score and it's pathetic. thornton brings nothing to the table, would rather daugavins. redden looked solid last game so i wish he played tonight too.

Right now we are luckless when it comes to scoring, hopefully the puck will start bouncing our way come playoff time, that plus our goalies coming up with some 3rd period saves will determine this team's future. On the plus side, a really good effort today, but when you are hot like Pittsburgh you win games in which you are out played and the Bruins continue to find ways to lose, consider this guy frustrated.

That feeling against the Caps and Senators, though.... Well we should feel a whole lot stronger against them.
