I usually don't like these emoticons, but definitely praising and clapping for Yandle on this one.

Me too. Shoulda been on the US 2010 Olympic hockey team, even though he was just getting going, they had a lot of young up and comers that year and he shoulda been one of them. Every rough round of the playoffs they've been in he and Doan have been ultra physical with big clean hits and play like there's no tomorrow. Super smooth too on the breakout or PP.

Total class, wish he were in black and gold. I never understood the Kaberle hardon Chia had, give up your bigtime forward prospect and a first/second for a guy like this. Add if you have too. I think this video shows his character and class as a human being, which adds to what he is as a hockey player.

He's available.

The price would be, understandably, very high --but at least they are taking calls on him. D is a position for strength for them --they are looking for Cs that can play against the Getzlaf, Kopitars of the division. We don't really have that but we do have some pieces.

Graduated HS with his sister, really wish the Bruins could acquire him without killing their depth.

Krejci's viewed as a legit top line center. He'd be a great centerpiece no pun intended. If it were me I'd rather not lose any picks unless they have prospects the B's believe in who are flying under the radar that could be sent back in return, thus stemming the loss of future bodies and potential pieces. I know that Chris Summers is a guy they're high on, and for good reason, and they also have Gormley who was like the Dougie Hamilton of the Hall-Seguin draft, dropping along with Fowler past the top five.

It might not take as much as people would think, especially if you get a third team involved. Islanders have been friendly with both organizations and have a logjam of prospects, coupled with a team that can't seem to stay OVER the cap's bottom end. Just an aside, I've seen Summers and he's good (played at Michigan which seems to be a Chia spot) and I've always liked Antoine Vermette, who was in Ottawa with every other Bruin, and he's also Bergy's best friend. Blockbuster with Yandle, Doan, Vermette and Summers would be freakin awesome. Never happen. Never ever happen, but it would be the *its.

Yeah, it is a shame we can't get him without selling the farm or killing our depth. I've had my eyes on him long before all of this, he's a great defenseman. Not the best defensively, but he'd play terrific with Seidenberg or Chara, who would cover up some of his mistakes. Plus, we need more offense. He would help.

He'd be a great Bruin. But he's a great Bostonian and I'll always root for him regardless of what team he's on. A very classy player, that's for sure. We love him back home, too.

If centre is a position of weakness on Phoenix, it is a position of strength on Boston. Hopefully something can be worked out in the off season.

Nice touch by Yandle, honoring his hometown.

I've been beating the "Yandle to Boston" drum for the past couple of years, this just solidifies my stance on him.

Not only is he from the area, but he's a great young defenseman.

figure there's no way yandle is in boston unless krejci ends up in phoenix. a little odd coincidence - they have the exact same cap hit. should be an interesting summer. i still think couturier ends up a coyote in a similar deal.

I'd be willing to flip Krejci for Yandle. A hockey trade 1-for-1. Those don't happen too often any more, but this would be a good one for both teams IMO.
