The Captain and Guy LeDouche are great as well. I could go on, but MXC absolutely dusts Wipeout.
I've been watching Takeshi's castle when I was a kid. Is that the same thing?

Edit: Wikipedia tells me it is. Great show.

Dead Rising 2 is free on Xbox Games for Gold a few more hours. Case Zero as well, (which should be played first) so shove those in your queue if you haven't already got them.

Starting tomorrow, Sept 1st through the 15th the free game will be Magic 2013, and following that (16th-30th) will be Rainbow Six: Vegas.

Keiji Inafune, the guy probably most responsible for the success of the Mega Man franchise (and executive producer of Dead Rising 2 coincidentally) has announced a new project in the spirit of Mega Man, which Capcom has shown little interest in (and even a little hostility towards) the past few years. It's called Mighty No. 9.

The kickstarter is around 300k away from meeting it's goal, and I expect it to far exceed it, but for such an accomplished game designer to put a project on kickstarter is worth taking a look at.

Something that's really cool with the Mega Man franchise, and I expect Inafune will continue it with Mighty No. 9, is that outside the first game, every Robot Master (boss) was designed by a fan. Using fan submissions (fully crediting them of course) is something that you wouldn't really be surprised with nowadays, but he was doing that in the 80's.

I see one of the higher pay tiers on this is to help design an enemy, but I that's not quite what I was talking about. Paying your way in is different from having an impact solely because of the merits of the design. Capcom was in a different place financially when the original Mega Man games were developed, but this particular project wasn't going to have funding issues so it feels a little lame that it was included. I think the draw is more so teleconferencing with the team.

Since I have no idea what you look like, I assume that chick on your avatar is you. It really makes that post a whole heck of a lot more disturbing.

I get my informations from the internets and Daily Show/Colbert Report, but has anyone brought up that this Syria business is basically Kosovo 2.0?

Syria has been pitched as an entirely air based war for humanitarian reasons, as the President is dealing with a scandal (PRISM)

Kosovo was an air based war for humanitarian reasons, as the President was dealing with a scandal (Monica Lewinsky)

Avatar is Erica Cerra. She is a Canadian actress and drop dead gorgeous. She is also from Vancouver. I on the other hand look like chewbacca or ewok. Right in the middle of the size.

Pretty dece Humble Indie Bundle going on.

Trine 2, Mark of the Ninja, Eets Munchies Beta, Brutal Legend, FTL: Faster Than Light, and Fez, in addition to the usual, yet to be revealed games.

On Metacritic, the lowest rated game of the bunch is Brutal Legend at 81/100. Fez and FTL have been GOTY candidates.

it's early on so you'd only need to pay $4.47 ATM to get all of them. (Fez and FTL require the avg to be beaten to purchase)

You know what just occurred to me?

In Final Fantasy games a Phoenix Down is used to revive fallen party members.

Spoiler: In FFVII, Aeris dies. One of the common jokes/criticisms is why they didn't use a Phoenix Down.

It's probably purposely left vague, but is the implication here that if one of them dies, and a Phoenix Down is not used for whatever reasons, their buddies just like carry the body around, and can check into inns and **** with a corpse?
